Discovery Village, where everybody had suggested highly, was not good. My brother spent 90 percent of the time in lockdown and that pushed him like right over the edge, he had a breakdown, and I couldn't deal with that anymore. So I just brought him home. They need better licensure, they need absolutely better PA. They don't have a doctor on staff there, and they have a PA. He's is a recovering drug addict, he shouldn't have any kind of narcotics, and they knew that, and they were giving him tramadol as needed, which means whenever he wanted it. The place is beautiful, it looks nice, it's not run right, they have no idea what they're doing. They tell you one thing one day, and the next thing it's changed, and then the next thing it's something else. One moment they'll call you and say, "This and this happened," and the next day, "Oh forget that, it wasn't for you." Different things like that, it's not a good place. It's a beautiful place but it's just not run right. It's a newer building, so it can't be in bad shape, but the facility, things are not there to use. They have a pool there, no one can use them. They're using the COVID thing way over the limit. They didn't do anything but 90 percent of the time he was on lockdown. I have another friend who also had his father there and he's not happy with it. It's beautiful. When you look at it, you go there, it's nice, new, and clean. It's really pretty, looks like it has to be a great place to stay, but the people that run it, there's like three or four old ladies that run that, and they just don't have a clue.

Discovery Village offers an outstanding experience for residents and families. My Mother lived in Assisted Living and then moved to Memory Care. The staff is fantastic, facilities are beautiful, programs are excellent. My Mom was treated with dignity and respect. We felt like part of the family with every visit. I would highly recommend this facility. We are thankful every day that my Mom spent the last year of her life being lovingly cared for at Discovery Village of Naples! Thank you Carla,Maggie,Zilma,Tina,Cathy,Gina,Mary Ann,Pat,Patricia Ann,Sue,Marie and many many more too numerous to name for all that you do to care for the residents!

Discovery Village at Naples is brand-new and doesn't have very amenities at the moment because of that. It's nice enough to look at inside, but it's not located in a great area. We didn't pursue it because there was still construction going on around it at the time. They still didn't have very many people there, but their amenities were almost like anywhere else. We only met the salesperson and she was fine.

I visited Discovery Village at Naples and I saw a 2-bedroom. It was very nice, very spacious, and I was very impressed with the restroom facility. There's a lounge where people can go and get a beverage and listen to piano music, there are games, there's a library, and a beauty salon. The staff was extremely attentive to the residents.

Discovery Village at Naples had a nice 1-bedroom with a washer/dryer. It had a beautiful entrance, and they had all the activities. The restaurant was gorgeous. They had a pool for therapy which could accommodate wheelchairs. The staff was very nice and very informative. He also told me that they do not increase the rate for the first 3 years. It was very lovely.

We liked Discovery Village at Naples. Everything seemed better there. We were looking at a two-bedroom and all of the rooms were about 25% or 30% larger than the others. It looked like they had a full calendar of things for people to do. The food was excellent.

Discovery Village at Naples was excellent and in my price range. I would recommend them to people interested in something newer. They had an open area. The residents were fine.

My mother toured Discovery Village at Naples and has put a deposit down. It is a very nice facility with very helpful staff who are very thorough in their discourse on what is available as far as services. I feel that it is a wonderful facility to place a parent. They have a salon and nail care service, a dining room that caters to special diets, a library, a little snack bar café, and a therapy pool. We viewed a very nice model room with an acceptable bathroom, a large closet, a nice bedroom, a sitting area, a kitchenette, and nice décor. The kitchens were very well appointed with a microwave and a full-sized refrigerator. The appliances and the TV are provided as well as the cable and the electricity. The thing that I like about Discovery Village is they do not have a tier-plan where the more care you need, the more the price goes up. They have a set price that covers everything that you could possibly need as far as medication management and assistance in the room. I think it is wonderful because in some of the places that I looked, the price goes up for the more care you need, and I don’t really like that.

Discovery Village was very nice; it had a pool, and the rooms were very nice. It hadn’t opened yet. They had nice breakfast area if you just want to go and have a little breakfast. It’s like a restaurant where you can go anytime. They had a coffee bar type thing. It was beautiful.

Discovery Village at Naples is new, and my daughter saw it and liked it. I think it is very nice also during my visit there. They have everything: a pool, a card room, a library, puzzles, and a theater. They will also take you shopping and to your doctors with no charge. Whatever I need, they will do for me.

Discovery Village was very nice, and the staff was very informative. I think the prices were very expensive. The dining room was beautiful. They had transportation.
