Augustine Landing was a nice place, but as far as living and stuff like that, you're just surrounded by people with different types of mental and physical impairments. I only met one person and she seemed nice. I have no problem with her. They had a small gym, a courtyard, and a little lounge area. It's pretty centrally located. It's near anything you want.

Beautiful community, the staff and residents are very welcoming and friendly. They have bingo every week, happy hour and other fun activities. It’s a very clean place and the food is good. I would highly recommend it

Augustine Landing was a wonderful place for seniors to retire. It was absolutely clean. The rooms were what they said they were and you can even get one that's furnished or unfurnished. The costs were exactly accurate to what I had been quoted. They had little apartments and I think the socializing for my mom would have been a lot better. Everything is enclosed in the building. So, she's not going outside. She's still in the building whenever she's coming down from her apartment to go down to the facilities. They would take the residents shopping two days a week. Then every Friday, they take them out as a group if they want to have a luncheon or go somewhere (which would be at their cost based on what the residents can afford.) They also have a gym, a game room, movie nights, and a schedule that my mom could go by. They're going to give her an ambassador who would sit with her at first so that she comes out of the room to eat the meals. They have a cocktail night and a happy hour, too. They have a lot of activities. Later on, when she needs the service from someone who could manage her medicine or anything, they have another company on the third floor that has CNAs and nursing that could be added later. The staff we met were all extremely friendly. The first lady that I saw was very nice. She brought me to another lady who was very nice as well. I liked that they take a picture of you and when you sign in on a sign-in screen, so they know who has come into the facility to see their loved ones. The building is beautiful. It has been there since 1999 and last year they did a complete revision. Each has a railing porch and they have beautiful outside areas where they can sit and a courtyard on the back.

Augustine Landing was well kept and organized. Everybody seemed very pleasant. I strictly saw just one room due to my budget and that was a studio apartment. It was small and I probably have to sell about half of my stuff. The dining area was very good, and they can make three selections of meals. I kind of question that there weren't that many people eating in that facility, but now I understand. With the Covid, they had to kind of dwindle it down at one time to how many people were in the area, so they were serving a lot of their people in their room. They have bingo three times a week. They have an exercise room, a library, and a chapel. They have activities going, but as for outside, they're limited as to going outside the facility. The staff was very informative. I did have to ask questions and they sent me a brochure after the visit with the floorplan and the cost.

I went to Augustine Landing. The facility is nice. The lady was nice. They let you take your little dog. There was only one unit available, which was nice. Overall, it is not the top facility I have been in. It is a good facility. I like the lady that interviewed me and went around with me. She was very nice. She keeps in contact.

The tour we had with Augustine Landing was fine. The rooms were very nice and very clean. It was not very large, but it was fine. There were plenty of seating areas around the facility. The staff was very helpful and very pleasant too. The residents were congregating with each other. It was a nice atmosphere. The dining area was very neat and very spacious. They had a pool table and one of the staff explained different things that they do, like bingo and things of that nature. I think they had a pretty active social event calendar for the residents. When I walked in, it had a very pleasant smell. I also spoke to some of the residents and they were quite happy being there.

Augustine Landing was good. The rooms were great, and the staff was friendly. The facility seemed well kept. They showed us around the whole thing, where they eat, and the rooms they had like the exercise room. It didn't seem like there was much outdoor space there.

I visited this facility

Everyone at Augustine Landing was very friendly. It was a very nice, intimate property because it had less than 100 residents. The apartments were nice. For my parents, it's gonna be a little small just because they would be moving from a single family home. If it were just one of them, it would be perfect. It's gonna be a little bit too small for the two of them as far as the size of the apartments. It's very pretty, peaceful, quiet, and clean. Everyone was very personable. You could tell they knew the residents very well and that was nice to see. Right now, they're doing delivery service to the rooms because of COVID. It's very well organized, and the menus looked very good, very healthy, and diverse.

My mother moved into Augustine Landing and it's wonderful. They do crafts, painting, they have card games, they play Wii bowling, there's singing, church, and they have activities every day. The staff is not a problem; everybody's perfect. They provide dining services three times a day and the food is great.

My parents have moved into Augustine Landing. The staff is really nice, and the facility is good. The food is decent. My mom and stepdad really like it there. My mother has hospice nurses coming in once a week and my stepdad is still independent. They have a separate home healthcare agency that you can contract right on-site. Their room is like a dorm room. It has a large size bathroom, a good size bedroom, and a living area with a kitchenette attached. It doesn't have a stove, but they provide food. They have a refrigerator and a large storage closet. The facility on each floor has a laundry room that has free washers and dryers that they can use. There's an elevator, a beauty salon, they do a lot of activities, and you can go and eat with them whenever you want to. They have exercise classes, a chapel, a library, a TV room, and TVs in their room. The doors are locked, and they all wear little lanyards with an emergency alert button on it. They have bingo, crossword puzzles, and brain health classes. There's a calendar of events posted on the elevator. They had a pianist come in today during lunch. It's a clean and good place. They have residents that are ambassadors that come around and talk to everybody. They have a baking club. It's enclosed, and they have a big atrium in the middle.

I went to Augustine Landing, and it seemed to be very nice. The staff was very nice, too. It was modern, and the room was adequate, but not so nice. The amenities seemed good, and the dining area is new and nice.

We like Augustine Landing and feel like she is safe there. My mother-in-law's room is a nice, little place, and she loves it. It is perfect for her, and she is happy with it. I think she gets the value for her money. Some days, the food is very good, but some days, it is not. Also my mother-in-law feels that in the evening, there is really nothing to do. To her, it seems that they used to have more activities for people, but they don't have as many as they did. Occasionally, a group will come in and entertain.

Augustine Landing seemed fine. The place was clean, and the people were nice. However, I wasn't completely thrilled with the location. The staff was pleasant. The rooms were clean and orderly and typical for that type of community.

I liked Augustine Landing very much. The representative who took me around was very knowledgeable and pleasant and I talked to a number of residents there. They all seemed quite happy and looked good. The place was clean and very nice, and looked warm and friendly.

Augustine Landing was nice and clean, and the representative was very nice, professional, and informative. However, my mother-in law didn't get the warm and fuzzy feeling from the residents. They also didn’t have a screened-in patio. The had a small, open area, where people gathered to watch movies together, they had a little game room, and they had an area downstairs for meet and greet, in a family room setting.

My mom has been in Augustine Landing for three years. They have a nurse that checks in on her and helps her put her medication out. There is always plenty of staff in the dining area. Everybody is helpful there. The layout is OK. It is a nice, decent place.

Augustine Landing was our favorite. We ate lunch there in the dining room with the other residents, and the food was outstanding. We saw a couple of people who we knew and they came over and talked to us. It just had a really friendly, warm atmosphere. It seemed like it would be tight but affordable for our needs. The amenities were nice. They had a nice fitness room and offered a lot of the same activities, games and movies, but also trips on buses that they could take people out. We told them we probably wouldn’t be seriously making a decision for at least another year, and they continued to keep in touch with us every couple of weeks or at least monthly since our tour. They seemed the most interested in us, and we liked them the best.

I saw two different studios and a one-bedroom at Augustine Landing. They were all very spacious and good-sized rooms. They had an exercise room, but not much outdoor room, so if you had a pet your ability to walk your animal was rather limited. The dining facility looked very nice. There were a lot of people who had found their dinner partners and they always sat together, not because they’ve been assigned. There was a lot of conversation going on amongst residents. A lot of the residents spoke to us and welcomed us there. It was one of the friendlier communities that my son and I have gone to.

Augustine Landing was exactly what I liked it. It had a double room to live in, and the balconies where I could sit outside were very nice. It has all the amenities that I was looking, but it was far away from St John’s County. Pamela -- who toured us the place -- was excellent. The dining room was spacious; I saw the residents enjoying their lunch.

Augustine Landing was very nice. The people were great and helpful. We talked to them several times and had a good experience. They were cooking lunch when we were there, and it smelled very good. The dining facility was very nice. The room they showed us was very pleasant. The grounds were very well kept. There was nice and helpful staff available if needed. We were very pleased with what we saw.

My husband really liked Augustine Landing. They have apartments where you live on your own and feel pretty indendent, and so that's part of what we liked about it. It's independent living, but if you need some help, you've got assisted living there, too. It was very clean, everybody was very friendly, and it looked like everybody was having a good time.

My stepfather moved into Augustine Landing. They could improve on the food. It is a very nice place but not very elaborate. There isn't a garden area or pool, but it is nice and adequate.

I found Augustine Landing to be very friendly, very comfortable-looking, very homey, and just nice all around. I didn’t feel that it was too much in style for me. I did have lunch there, and it was very nice. They have different sizes of rooms, and had the size that I wanted, because I need room to move around. They had lots of activities. They had a lot of going out to different places: museums, down to the landing, the beach, different restaurants, and different kinds of tours. Indoors they have games, and people come in and talk and all kinds of different things.

We've looked at St. Augustine Landing for my father-in-law. The staff were great and very helpful. They were able to follow up with us. It's a great facility, but I think he is not ready yet to move to a facility. I actually thought that would have been a good fit for him. I would happily recommend this facility to other people. We were able to eat there and we enjoyed the meal. They have bingo and football. They also have music that would come. They had a lot to offer and that was great.

We visited several facilities in the vicinity and Augustine Landing is the most elegant by far. My grandmother loves her studio apartment. She made friends with several residents the first week she was there.
