Grand Living at Citrus Hills is absolutely spectacular, beautiful, and phenomenal. The staff is amazing and there's not a person that works there who doesn't say hello. It's unbelievable compared to the place where my mom was. My mom is in their memory care unit. The rooms are big, airy, and clean. They have what they call a memory box, which is a big built-in shelf with bookcases where you can put things for them to remember from their past, which is nice. The room also has a refrigerator, and a built-in shower chair. I eat there all the time with my mom and you can eat a pork loin, which melts in your mouth; you don't even have to chew it, that's good. I'm actually paying less there than the place where she was at. My mom has dementia, but when I went to see her yesterday, she actually used a full sentence when she talked to me for the first time in a year and a half, and she's only been there for a week. They have a Michelin chef and what's nice is they have choices of five appetizers, three different entrees, salads, and soups. The food is so good and I eat when I go there because it's like being on a cruise. I took Mom to one of the activities and she wouldn't even bother to hold a pencil in her hand, but I noticed one of the volunteers walked over to Mom, put the pencil in her hand, wrapped her hand around Mom's hand, and helped her color. They just engaged them and help them do it, talk to them, and encourage them. They've constantly got things going on for them, which is really good. They even have a swimming pool with a lift, so that if you're in a wheelchair, you can put them on that and put them in the pool. The grand living room is phenomenal, and they have a piano, a real movie theater, a spa, a gym, hair salon, barbeque area, the rooms are double the size of the rooms where my mom used to live, and I'm only paying $4,900.

Grand Living at Citrus Hills is top of the line. It's just one year old so it's almost brand new and absolutely stunning. It has an extremely good quality of restaurants. It has three different ones for morning, noon, and night. The food is excellent. You can order what you want off the menus. It has all the available facilities for working out and they have a coach to help you do exercises. They have a theater that will seat 125 people. They have shows periodically almost once a month, and they have somebody come in there and do performances. They have a good extreme number of various shapes, sizes, and rooms that people would use, from 1,200 square feet down to 600 square feet, so there's excellent diversity of rooms and accommodations. They don't have restrictions on keeping you there for each year at a time. You can go on a monthly rental basis. They have healthcare for their people and an on-duty nurse. Their cost is about the same as everybody else's. The staff have all been very gracious and we don't even belong to them, yet they let us cme and see their shows and occasionally sit with our friends who are there for lunch and dinner. They're very open to outsiders coming in and seeing what their facility can and can't do. There are extra wide corridors and the reason for that is they have paintings on the walls, and you can walk three or four abreast. It gives it a more spacious feeling so you don't feel like you're enclosed as you walk through the corridors.

We live in NY and while visiting mom during August, went to visit Grand Living plus 3 other local places. TGrand Living had been open one month. Mom is 86, and still independent but she fell twice this year and we are concerned about her living alone. We loved Grand Living. Its like me having mom live at the Ritz Carlton and there is nothing better as all of the wonderful amenities are included! She will be in a one bedroom with a large living room and bedroom. The Staff are so professional and well spoken. There is even a gym where there is a full time trainer and mom is looking forward to working on balance and taking some classes in the pool. So many opportunities to make new friends. Happy for mom. What a wonderful place for mom to spend her golden years. We know she's in good hands. It's hard for us, living so far away. Thank you Grand Living.

I liked everything at Grand Living at Citrus Hills. It had everything that we wanted. The food was good, the room was good, and the price was right. They had movies and even Broadway shows.
