My husband was at Kindred Hospital North Florida. He was there during COVID and all that, so we couldn't really get in there to see him very often. They lost his $5000 dentures, which I was not happy about. Other than that they were pretty good. The facility was pretty nice, as well as his room. They have a lot more high quality equipment because they do more than a regular nursing home.

My younger brother started in the hospital and transferred to ARU. The staff was wonderful. PT and OT staff exceptional! He said the food was very good as well. I don’t normally do reviews unless it’s bad but his experience there was excellent. He was there for almost 2 weeks. They established what caused his problem. He was able to bring home what he learned to help him in the future.

I was a patient at kindred for a month and a half they took very good care of me the doctors were excellent and the nursing staff was wonderful the administration side was equally wonderful I had a few issues one with a nurse that was dealt with immediately and fixed and the other was with an administration person and it was also dealt with quickly and fixed my care was very good the place was very clean it even had a screened in porch which I took advantage of I even liked the food if what was served to the patients wasn't the same as what served in the cafeteria so if I wanted what was in the cafeteria I went down there and got it at no charge I would recommend this place to anybody and I thank them for taking such good care of me

My husband had been sick for a long time. In different hospitals over the last few years. We left one place and went to kindred because it seemed much better than the old place we were. My husband passed away a few days ago after every attempt to help save him. It was his time to go be in heaven. I appreciate every effort the nurses and doctors done to try and save him. He had some wonderful people care for him over the years. I am sad I was not there to see him take his last breath. But I know he was in good hands and that is how it was meant to happen. He did not want me seeing him leave this earth. Thank God for taking care of him and giving me the time I had with him. I am thankful for the nurses at kindred that held me when I cried. A nurse I think Nicki sit and prayed with me as I layed in tears. The nurse managera Amanda sit with me and held me while I cried, and handed me tissues when I couldt move. My phone was turned off and I was alone. She stayed with me and called from her personal phone every person I needed. Until friendse came to be with me. This place has some wonderful people and I am blessed to have met them. The doctors explained all to me and would answer my questions no matter how many I had. I am grateful for Kindred and our time there.

Most of the Doctors are fantastic. I'm very happy with the cleaning staff. I rate the RN' & CNA's 50/50.... They are either awesome or horrible...Take your concerns to the charge nurse. They care, but the bottom line is high turnover... The best nurses only work one or 2days a month... Don't get paid enough to work full time. I suggest you check your loved ones body daily to make sure wounds are cleaned. Check for marks & bruising from laying in strained positions for extended periods. The food & kitchen staff is wonderful. It's been a bitter- sweet experience. Unfortunately my family member is unstable to move, so we're still dealing with it...
