I went to The Village at Mariner's Point. I loved the location and I loved the view, but I didn't love the price. It's assisted living, and the price is close to $5000 a month. I don't have that kind of money, and there are no minorities out there, and I'm a black woman. That's one reason why I wouldn't even consider them. The staff seemed very competent and nice, and they're all minorities. Only the people that work there are minorities. I had lunch there, and the food was very good. They have a gym and games. You could take a walk around the complex. Every day, they have something going on, so that seems like a nice part of the plan.

We toured The Village at Mariner's Point for my sister-in-law, and it was a lovely facility. They had tablecloths and cloth napkins for lunch. We talked to a couple of ladies that have lived there for eight years, they live in different parts of the building and they met each other every day for lunch. They were planning a whole lot of activities. We went and saw a lady that had the nicest apartment, it had a deck off it and it was the largest one. The staff who gave the tour was delightful, she was very helpful, took us around, and she offered to have us stay for lunch, but we didn't feel that comfortable. She's just very personable. We didn't try the food but they were having sausage subs, salads, blueberry pie, or vanilla ice cream with blueberries. And they had a standing menu that you could choose from if you didn't like the special of the day. They always had something to do if somebody will come out of their room and do them, they don't have to be living alone in their own little section. The directors there set up new people to come out and expose them to somebody they'd be comfortable with and sorta pal around with. It was lovely and I was happy with them.

We visited the community along with 3 others in the area, all were nice. The step above at Mariner's Point was the people we interacted with during our walk through. We asked many current owners if they liked living at MP and the staff was friendly. Our Dad moved in September 10 and since has really enjoyed his stay. Kelly and Beth stepped up to get him into the facility quickly and without any issue. Cindy the RN was key in getting him transitioned from independent living to this assisted living community. He uses the Primary Care Provider in the community and if any issues come up, Cindy's team addresses it. If he needs a specialty doctor, they can schedule the visit. So far, the meal and activity programs have worked out very well. The food service is managed by a Chef who has worked at MP for 20 years. Dad has met new people and stays busy. Thank you MP and the amazing staff..we appreciate you looking after our Dad.

The Village at Mariner's Point was too far from us, but it was phenomenal. It was at the ocean, and it was wonderful. We toured their assisted living. I sampled a meal, and it was very, very good.

I was happy with The Village at Mariner's Point. It was very pleasant, professional, and clean. The director came right out and took me on a tour. I saw the whole facility. I was able to ask a lot of questions, and I didn't feel rushed. It was very nice. I saw the memory care unit for my dad, and then she showed me all the assisted living and the independent living areas. The rooms were really nice because they had like a kitchenette kind of area. They had a balcony that you could put a couple of chairs out on, so I like that. There were a lot of activities, oh my goodness! Just a lot! They have really nice vans to take them places. They had different places to eat. I saw the menus. It was really nice. They had an outdoor garden area to sit and go around, and it's near the water. It's really nice. I also met the gentleman in charge of the memory care unit. They were really helpful and knowledgeable. Another thing is that they followed up with me. The place was very clean. It was not too quiet, but not noisy. The people living there looked happy and pleasant. It was very clean and bright, and there were a lot of windows.

I went to The Village at Mariner's Point. There were lots of windows with gorgeous views. It's clean and bright, and they have so many different facilities. They had a movie theater, a pub, a pool, and all these beautiful amenities. The dining room was phenomenal; it's like a restaurant. I would absolutely recommend it. They have independent, assisted, and a memory care program. The rooms were spacious, and the views were lovely as well. I saw a studio, an apartment, and a deluxe model. My mom has large furniture. They have angles on the ceiling, so a lot of her furniture wouldn't fit into it. The staff was funny, friendly, very polite, energetic, very knowledgeable, and very pleasant. I didn't have much interaction with them, but they were tending to the residents. They had so many programs. It's unbelievable. They have a variety of food. They have a regular menu that you can order off of with specials. It looks like they could accommodate for the needs of the residents. They're very aware of their dietary needs. It's gorgeous with all the amenities, the cleanliness, and how bright it is.

The people at The Village at Mariner's Point were very nice. The staff was very, very nice, the facility was a little dated and looks like it can use work. The area that it was in didn't look like a great area, it was like in an industrial area, so that was not appealing. The apartments in there and everything was kind of older and dated. They have a movie room but it wasn't a great movie room. They had arts and crafts, they have doctors visit at the facility. The dining room was nice but it wasn't great. They have chefs that were there, and I thought with the menus, the food looked very good.
