My friend moved into The Village at Brookfield Common. The facility is very nice. My friend is happy there. He said the food is good. They're very friendly. There's a lot of help. They make him socialize, which he does not do, so it's very good for him, because they're forcing him to go out and eat dinner in the dining room. They have a lovely dining room. The people are very friendly. They have loads of activities for them. They give him transportation to his doctor. They have entertainment, a gym, a little library, and puzzles they can work on. The arrangement is beautiful. It's really set up very nicely. They have a terrace where they can go sit out. It's near shopping. They have different specials for every meal. They give my friend very good care and check on him every evening to find out if he's OK.

I went to The Village at Brookfield Common memory care, and we also saw some pieces of the assisted living area. They had a schedule of activities posted. They were restricted in terms of meal times, which concerned us. If my mom forgets to go to dinner, then she won't get any dinner. They had a nice outdoor patio space, but the other outdoor spaces weren't as nice as the other places I toured. I saw all the memory people in a lecture, which I didn't think was appropriate for them. It was kind of over their heads, and maybe the planning of it should have been thought out a little better. The salesperson that I met was wonderful. She answered every little question, and the follow-up was good. I had cookies when I was there. The rooms were beautiful. They would have been the second choice because of where it was, and the access to the community my mother was living in before her decline. It's located on Federal Road which is a pretty main road and is close enough to the hospital where her doctors are affiliated.

Our tour at The Village at Brookfield Common was very good. I enjoyed it a lot. It was a really nice place, but right now, our concern is cost. I like that it's very bright, very cheerful, and very upbeat, and they really treat their residents like their family, which is really nice. The place was very clean, too. We didn't get into too many of the activities, and because of COVID, they are very limited on what they are doing.

I toured The Village at Brookfield Common. I thought it was really nice, I thought the staff was incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and super helpful about providing information. The building itself looked a little bit older on the outside, but the inside is actually super nice. The rooms were private, they showed me around, and gave me a list of activities. There's not much going on right now, but kind of what would normally be happening.

I was a short term resident of this facility in 2019. I only saw this website now. Believe me, they say that this has tradition and elegance—so long as you pay the astronomically high monthly rent for small rooms and care charges, that is! The aides are really the ones who run the show and they are obviously overwhelmed but I do give them lots of credit for working so hard with residents. Management will do anything to avoid serious issues unfortunately although they are good at charging a lot. These care facilities are really a step or two up from a nursing home with beautiful decor but the food is (usually) lousy. Exercise class is a highlight and they do make arrangements for physical therapists to come there to give therapy to residents. Trust me, the thing they do the very best, though, is handing out the monthly bills!

My aunt has been living in The Village at Brookfield Common for several weeks now. Our experience so far has been very good. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, the services are very good, the place is very clean, it's a modern and beautiful community. She's in a studio there. There's a variety of rooms in this place, however, in the memory care unit there are only 2 types of studios with one slightly bigger than the other. They have a very nice little bistro where the residents can gather for coffee or entertainment. They also have outside entertainment that they bring in, there's a lot of activities every day for the seniors, they also have a main dining room where the family can share meals with them. There's an outdoor deck where the residents can use, several gathering rooms, and overall, it's one of the nicest communities I have seen during our search.
