I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Mission Terrace is wonderful. The rooms are fine. They do a really good job. I'm pleased with their care. My mother complains about the food, but it looks fine to me. They have a beautiful dining room. It's a good facility for follow-up surgery. The physical therapy is great, and they distribute her medications just fine. The nurses and the aides are nice. I don't have complaints. The staff is great. The facility is excellent and very clean.

Mission Terrace has been taking very good care of my dad. But it's too expensive for him. It's out of pocket, and it's too much. But they treat him very well. They treat him like he's a member of their family. He's really well cared for. My dad will live another 10 or 20 years easily, but it's just the dementia. The place is clean, and they're all professional. They do music; a man would play the piano. They have people around and have like an exercise group. My dad likes that. Because of his dementia, he can't really do the bingo, but they play bingo. They have movie nights where they watch an old movie, and a lot of people participate in that. Dad gets around with the physical therapist and exercises.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Mission Terrace is a transition from the hospital back to where you're living. It's rehab, or it could be skilled care. It's a really excellent place. It is difficult in that level of care to have more than a utilitarian room, but the overall ambience or atmosphere is elegant. They have chandeliers and a very nice dining room. They also have in-room dining. The most positive thing I can say is they have an amazingly caring skilled staff. The activities are a little limited because of the skill level of their patients. They have a really efficient physical therapy program. My mother is 95, and she has really enjoyed the physical therapy people. They have a cognitive therapy program. You could avail of a wonderful patio and family areas. It is a pretty large facility. They have a men's room, a women's room -- anywhere from one bed to three beds. Their staff does a great job. They're very nice. One of the male nurses even offered to pile my mother's fingernails.

I am a friend or relative of resident

Mom is doing really well at Mission Terrace and enjoys the activities and music performances very much. For us, the most important thing is that she is happy and comfortable and she is both thanks to the wonderful care of the staff.
