I really enjoyed visiting my aunt at this care home for several years. The staff was always kind, attentive, and very patient with her. It always smelled really good, and the other residence was always happy to see me. I also appreciate all the activities they deal with their people. I highly recommend.

My mother was in Comforts of Home for several years before she passed away at 98 years old. We appreciate working with the staff and especially the Kang family as they were very compassionate, attentive and communicative. My brother and I specifically have strong thoughts when she went into Hospice care and the staff was very attentive in moving her every couple hours, ensuring she was hydrated and was comfortable until she eventually passed. I would highly recommend this home.

After seeking the best Home and looking at a few we settled on Comforts of Home. Their professionalism was unmatched and overall provide more care and a better value for our mother. She loved living there, absolutely the best decision.

My mom loved Comforts of Home. They really made her feel special and loved during the hardest times of her dementia. They took so much stress off our plate as we were really struggling. Thank you.

The rooms all have flat screen TVs and are furnished with a bed, dresser, nightstand and chair. Common areas are kept nicely decorated and clean. There is usually two staff during the day and someone at night. My mom stayed here for 2 years before she passed and we were very pleased with the service there. The caregivers were compassionate and attentive. Price was fair compared to the other homes we toured in the area.

I was able to place my dad at Comfort Riverside home after SNF. They provided 24/7 excellent care for him. I and my family members was able to visit him daily and spend time with him . Maria and her staffs were caring and made my dad feel at home.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. The furniture was up to standard. I really enjoy the staff, esp Jackie who was very helpful in ensuring my mother was well cared for and watched as she suffered from a lot of memory loss at the end of her life. My mother enjoyed walking outside, which I am thankful the staff took her out a few times a week. I am grateful I found this community through a friend who also had her father placed here years ago. David and Maria have been in this business for over 10 years.

About Comforts of Home - Greenhaven in Sacramento, California
The Kang Family has served the elderly community of Sacramento for over 15 years. In 2000, Caroline and Francis Kang opened their first board and care, Laguna Park RCFE in Elk Grove.
Each room is equipped with a flat screen cable television, chair with ottoman, as well as a bed, dresser and nightstand.
Every week our Activities Director ensures residents participate in planned activities that focus on physical exercise, cognitive abilities and daily living. We especially concentrate on personal rehabilitation and work closely with our staff and therapists to ensure physical progress. In addition to guaranteeing a healthy atmosphere, we also provide nutritious, balanced and appetizing meal plans. Our staff is also trained to accommodate particular residents with special meal needs.
Included in our facility, are trained, professional, friendly and caring staff members. They are trained monthly in Dementia care, medication management and emergency procedures. They all speak fluent English and maintain a current CPR and First Aid certificate. Each employee is carefully screened and undergoes both a criminal and drug background check. Each home employs two caregivers during the day as well as an awake night staff.
We work closely with our 24-hour, on call nurse, as well as personal doctors to make certain each resident is carefully monitored. We also contact the main relative(s) with any updates or changes in the resident.
