Assisted Living Reviews for Renaissance Village Rancho Belago

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My sister was at Renaissance Village Rancho Belago. It was top notch but very expensive. The rooms were great. She had her own room with a little kitchenette, air conditioning, and a sliding door to a little patio. Everything was on one level. It was excellent and brand new. Everybody I met seemed to care about the residents and were professionals. They had all kinds of amenities, like a little beauty shop where the residents could get their hair done and have a manicure/pedicure. They have an exercise program they call Geri-Fit and have somebody come in and do arts and crafts with them or sing as the residents dance. They have different games to help boost their mind and outings once a week. They allow dogs and have a little dog park for the residents. The Renaissance Village was very good, except it was expensive for us.

The rooms at Renaissance Village Rancho Belago were excellent, very nice, and large. The overall place was brand new and very well kept with very good rooms for general purposes. I 100% liked it. It was cheaper than about 80% of the other places in the area. The staff was very professional; I did not run into anybody who was not professional and courteous.

Renaissance Village Rancho Belago is a new place. The lady who assisted me was very pleasant, and it looked like a very active community. They were about to do aerobics or Zumba while I was there, and they were running. The outside was dry, and there was nothing there, so it wasn't appealing.

Renaissance Village was a nice new place, but it didn’t impress me. It was very nice and clean, but I wasn’t impressed by now. They didn’t seem attentive. But one of the people that I did speak to there was very nice and gave me the name of someone else -- i.e., a consulting service -- and she was very nice too. The staff did show us a room and pointed out some of the amenities. The rooms were very nice. This place was new, and it seemed to me that they had a lot of vacancies, but they were pretty pricey. I saw a medication room, an activity room that they were playing a game in, a dining room, and a sort of little waiting area that runs as reception area too.

We placed my in-laws in Renaissance Village in Moreno Valley. It's a very accommodating and very well-run place. They have a varied menu and do a pretty good job on the food. They also have other things that they do, like barbecues for holidays and things like that.

I loved Renaissance Village Rancho Belago. It was beautiful! The tour was wonderful, and the place was nice. I loved the way it was set up and arranged. The guy that I talked to was really nice and thorough. I was pleasantly pleased with everything.

Renaissance Village is a great facility but expensive. Overall, I think it is a new, wonderful, beautiful place. The people are great. I talked to the residents, and they were very happy. The food looked good. However, this type of place costs a lot of money. For someone who wants to live in that facility, I would recommend it and give it five stars. I was very impressed. I like the trend toward making senior living/assisted living facility more like a hotel. It has the ambience of a resort, and it is nice. I like the people that I spoke with. I was impressed with them. There was nothing not to like other than the fact it costs a lot of money.

I went to see Renaissance Village. They had a group of people out front playing Bocce ball, they’ve got a wall of fame for all the veterans that are there, and they take care of all the veteran benefits that we have. We went around to see their little theater, but the rooms were entirely too small. There’s no way that I would ever move into that place. It’s nice, clean, and the lady said they only have about half a dozen vacancies. They’re so new that people are just now starting to hear about them, but for the lifestyle that I’m looking for, it wouldn’t work. It simply would not fit what I want.

Renaissance Village was really clean, the apartments were very spacious, and they had lots of activities. From what I saw, I was impressed. It was just expensive for us.

My mother seems well-taken care of. I have only seen Renaissance Village one time, and that was last weekend. I live out of state, so I don't get over there as often as my brother does, but he is quite pleased with the facility, and my mother is doing fine. She is in a private room, so she doesn't share the room with anyone -- or the bathroom -- and she has got a little kitchenette, so everything is pretty much there for her. If she wants to stay in her room, she can. If she wants to get out, she can. They have all kinds of activities. They have Bingo several times a week, a movie theater -- several films every week -- Church, exercise, different games, and outdoor activities like barbecues. They really try to keep their residents happy. My mother is not a very social person, so she doesn’t join in a great deal, but she is doing fine. Their dining area is very nice. It is quite large, very light, airy, and very nice. I spent a bit of time in there, and it seemed that everybody enjoyed their time dining there. They have a menu, so they don't have to have the same thing every day if they don’t want to, and they have choices for all three meals. It seems very nice and secure. It is a fairly new facility, so there's not a lot of wear and tear, but it is clean.

Renaissance Village Rancho Belago was another place where I would want my mother to go. The only thing about this place that made me weary was that it was so new, and it was not even full of people yet. It got me worried about how the care will be when they fill up because they had a lot of space. That was a risk, but it was a lot less expensive, and the rooms are very nice. They were spacious. I really liked the girl that gave us the tour. We were there for 4 hours touring and talking to her. It was really good. The thing I liked the most about this facility was that it was privately owned. It was not a corporation. They paid their staff more, and that to me is everything -- knowing that the staff is going to stay, they are happy, and they will be taking good care of my mom.
