When I first entered Foremost Retirement Community, I was in the assisted living, not the independent living (I was looking for the independent living). I talked to the lady there and she was really, really mean. Then, I finally found the other lady after 45 minutes of just walking around. She was nice and OK. The rooms for the independent people were OK. It's like a single studio. It's not that bad. The lady said that it was already rented so we didn't go through all the information, but the facility was good. It's clean. It's not new so the apartment look really, really old.

Foremost Retirement Community was very clean and quiet. There were people walking around. The people were coming in and out of the clubhouse, and the clubhouse itself is very nice. It's more of a dorm. There's plenty of open areas to walk around. I was told that there's a bus that takes you out. The staff was friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The meals are not included, but each of the apartments has a kitchenette or a kitchen. They had a small restaurant on site. The facility is very well-kept.

Foremost Retirement Community seemed like a very spacious facility. It was very clean. They had activities for their residents and they had common areas with books to read and TV. They also had an outdoor area.

Foremost Retirement Community was a great place. I liked it a lot. The staff was very nice. They showed me everything and talked it over with me, told me the availability. If it was just closer, I would have taken it. But I just can't go that far out, and that's the only reason. But I like it. They had a studio, but it was pretty large, and they also had a one-bedroom. I would have wanted the one bedroom, which I could afford as well, but the studio was nice. They're both nice. They played bingo at night, there was an onsite cafe that was open for breakfast and lunch, but not dinner.

I did a tour of Foremost Retirement Community. It looked like a clean facility. The rooms looked like they were comfortable. They gave us plenty of information, and they were kind and courteous about doing it. We didn't see patient areas. We only saw rooms in an empty wing. We did not see any activities going on in the common area. In the empty wing, there was a community area that had TVs and tables for puzzles or stuff. It was an empty wing because of COVID and everything. The people were courteous. They told us that most of the doors were coded, but there were doors that are just alarmed. One of my concerns was that they don't take patients outside. They would need more staff in order to do a group time outside. They had a gazebo area, but not for a memory patients. We saw the entrance and went in the office. The staff talked to us. Then she walked us over and showed us a room and a common area for that wing. There were no patients in it, so it was kind of hard to judge the kind of care because you were not seeing anybody there.

We visited Foremost Retirement Community. It's very nice and very good. Everything was just right. It's in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood. It seems secure, and that's important. It has a nice environment if you want to walk your dogs. There's a cute restaurant nearby. It's about a mile from the main strip of town where you'll find a Walgreens, the bank, and the post office. They're all relatively very close. The upkeep was just fine. It wasn't dirty, it was clean, and it was well-maintained. We looked at all the individual little apartments. They all have a parking spot and green grass in front. They're connected. You might have one or two neighbors, but they're very private. You don't get your meals or anything. You're totally on your own. They have a long kitchen. You could have a full-sized fridge, a four-burner stove, a sink, and a counter. And then the studio, you could set up a queen bed, a TV, a good-sized bathroom, and a little closet. The other nice thing is that it's only one level. There are no two stories, so you don't have to worry about climbing stairs or anything. They have both independent and assisted living. The staff who toured me was very helpful, friendly, and professional. She did great. You feel like you're in a little apartment building. It's so independent and quiet. The only thing is that you don't have a little private yard for your dog or cat. It's all just one big open area, so you don't have a patio, you don't have a place to barbecue, you don't have anything like that.

I went to Foremost Retirement Community twice and it's a nice and pleasant community. The staff was friendly and helpful. I only saw two units and they were clean and nice. They have a reading room, a television room, and a small auditorium or something like that for gatherings. It's old, but the environment was very pleasant and I could see myself living there because of the peace and quietness around the area.

I like the setting of Foremost Retirement Community. It wasn't just a memory care; they have apartments there, and they have assisted living. They also have outside groups that come in. They have a hall that they rent out for weddings and different school functions. They have a lot more activity that was going on -- not necessarily in the memory care unit, but in the facility itself. I have nothing bad to say about it.

My father-in-law is in Foremost Retirement Community. They're very professional, informative, and very caring towards the family members. They're a very sociable independent community. Because of Covid right now, they don't really have much. They do have bingo, but it's not open yet. They have other other stuff there that they can all socialize, go and partake in. Right now because of Covid, they're not really doing much. It is a nice building. It's very clean and manicured lawn areas. Even the inside of the facility like the the rooms and the independent rooms, they're very well taken care of.

My mother-in-law is at Foremost Retirement Community. They're really nice. I've never actually been inside, but on the phone they seem nice. She's been there for two weeks now, and she seems to be adjusting fine. She doesn't remember what you said three seconds ago. I don't even know if she knows that she's not home. She doesn't do anything with her life. She sits in a chair or she lays in bed. That's all she does. She has very few resources to pay to take care of herself, and I picked this place because it was the only one she could afford. She's two-and-a-half hours away from us, but there's nothing I could do. She's not safe at home alone. She needed to be in a place, and this is the only thing I could find that she could afford. They've just been great. I have been to the outside, and it's a very nice-looking place. It actually is a pretty cool place. They have actual apartments, so people who live there are maybe sixty-five years old and don't want to do all of the stuff on their own. They don't want to take care of their yard, they don't want to cook, and they just want to live independently, so they have all that stuff in separate buildings. It's really quite a complex. The grounds are nice. I've seen pictures of the inside because they have a video that I watched, but I've never been inside.

We went to the Foremost Retirement Community. They had apartments for like $700, like a studio apartment, so independent living, and then the next one from that was assisted living, and that was like $4,200, and that was a huge jump. What we were looking for is what grandma had before where she had her own place. It was independent, but they just brought her food every day, and they were like, "We don't have anything like that." The staff was friendly, the girl I spoke with was very friendly. They said they had bingo, senior activities that they could join in if they wanted. They had a little restaurant/cafe on site that she could just walk across and order food like that. My mom and I went to look at it, and we liked it.

I toured Foremost Retirement Resort. It was good, but I just think it was too big of a facility for my mom. I felt like she would be isolated. If you're a person that just wants to live there, and don't need help, that would be a great place. Right now, they kind of have it on lockdown for each wing. They've got four wings, and each wing is locked down within each self. They do have a gathering area in each wing, and a little food area. The lady was wonderful, they were very nice, they helped me out a lot. I got to tour it, and I saw the room.

I went to Foremost Retirement Community. They weren't very receptive and they weren't very nice. I was not happy with them at all. They were very uncooperative. They would not accept my friend's alimony as income. The place was not clean. They showed us a studio apartment with a gas stove. They didn't have any amenities to speak of. She would have to walk three blocks to do her laundry. It was pretty, but that was about it. The woman in charge was rude. I would not recommend the place. I saw both the independent and the assisted living. It was beautiful on the outside, but on the inside the place was dinged up and it wasn't clean.

Foremost Retirement Community was a wonderful place and really nice. I saw a large studio. It was gigantic with lots of closet space and everything in there. I thought it was a great place and had lots of amenities too. The staff member who accommodated me during the tour was wonderful. They have a lot of other options available, so there's also a small studio, but I looked at the big one. There are different room sizes. I understand they have a pool, a recreation room, and that sort of thing

Foremost Retirement Community seemed like a nice facility. The staff during the tour was very helpful and informative. The dining area was nice, and it was more like a cafeteria. They showed a calendar of activities and it looked okay. They had a library and an exercise room. I saw three apartments. They had a smaller studio, the larger studio had plenty of closet space, and the 1-bedroom was good sized.

I visited Foremost Retirement Community and it seemed to be OK for what I'm interested in. It's like an apartment, 1-bedroom, $850 a month, and inclusive of everything else. If I go to a senior place, it would be there. The room seemed to be large enough for what I needed, but it's small compared to an average 1-bedroom apartment. The staff said you could only have a small refrigerator. It seemed to be quite clean and wholesome. The people I talked to were very informative.

We visited Foremost Retirement, it was really nice, and we liked it. All the facilities were well-kept and clean. The problem is storage space. The bedroom was nice, the kitchen and living room was a decent size, and the access was pretty good. They have games, Bingo night (which my wife loves), and they have a rec room.

We had a tour of Foremost Retirement Community, got information, and talked to the administrator, but it's a little out of our price range. My mother isn't able to afford it and we aren't able to do anything with that. What they showed us were pretty nice rooms. One wing was being renovated and closed down, but they showed us what the rooms looked like and how big they were. They were pretty good. We did a lunch tour so we were able to taste the food and that was pretty good too. The dining area was good. They have five wings, the fifth wing being renovated, and there are a lot of sitting areas. They have a big dining room and each one of the wings has a courtyard or an outside area with a gazebo. The grounds were really nice. The facility was clean and the staff member we talked to was pretty good. They were pretty amenable when showing us around.

I have a friend who lives at Foremost Retirement, and it's always presentable. The apartments are adequate. The doorway should be wider because somebody in a wheelchair would have a tough time navogating. I don't think the interiors are kept up well. The staff is pleasant.

I thought Foremost was very neat and clean, and the people took care of business. My husband wasn’t too excited. The staff didn’t seem to have the answers that we wanted and waited for us to ask questions instead of explaining things like we were expecting. The facility seemed a little stiff; nobody smiled there. The residents were having fun and enjoyed being there; they just were there. I wouldn't put my husband there.

Foremost Retirement Community was expensive. There were small studios and homes across street, but they didn't service them at all, so you're like living at own your house. They did have a small section inside where they take care of you. It's very expensive compared to other communities. The rooms themselves were fine, but the rooms inside where you have care were small and very expensive. Of the three communities I saw, this was the one that I liked the least. However, they had nice people, a nice dining room, and a nice layout.

My dad has been in the independent side of Foremost for 10 months now. It's a very nice and quiet place. The administration is very helpful and kind. The units are nice; they have one-bedrooms and studios, and we don't have a problem with them at all. They have lounging rooms and meals, but he didn't use that.

Foremost Retirement has 420 sq. ft independent living units for only $750 which is a fantastic price. It’s close enough as I am able to be independent living, I could keep my part time job, and I could go to my church. The place was very clean, and the employees were very nice. I offered to buy lunch because I wasn't told it would not be provided, but then when we heard it was $10 for lunch, we said no. It was awful; the vegetables and the dessert was green Jell-O. I have never thought a Jell-O is a dessert. They had a piece of turkey which I could not cut, and the knife was so dull I had a hard time. They did have some staffing which was good, but the food was awful. The choice of drinks were water and coffee, but I don’t drink coffee. The staff was very friendly, very friendly, but the units were too small, and the food was inadequate.

After looking at a couple of facilities, we chose Foremost for my Mom's care. At home her dementia was getting worse and she was getting depressed and didn't want to eat too much. After just 2 weeks at foremost we saw such a change in Mom. She was getting up for breakfast and enjoying all of her meals, and even gained a little weight. Mom took part in activities and even exercising. All of the caregivers are very caring and loving. If you are looking for a loving place to put your loved one, we recommend Foremost Retirement

My visit at Foremost was very good. I just did not like the locks on the doors. My mom did not have Alzheimer’s, so she didn’t need to be placed in there. It was very clean and the staff was excellent and very friendly. I only met their director and the receptionist, and they were very nice. We took the tour, and I would give that a 4. I just didn’t like the locks on the doors, but I guess you have to have that for Alzheimer’s patients.

The people at Foremost Retirement Resort were very nice. The quality of the rooms was not to the same level as others, and it was more expensive, as well. The dining room looked fine. We were impressed with it, at first, until we saw other communities.

Foremost Retirement Resort seemed like they had a good menu. My mother would've been in a double room, which was a nice room. The people working there were very friendly. The biggest positive was they were geared toward dementia patients unlike where she is now.

Foremost was a great place, but it was way very expensive. It was way above what we could have afforded. It had all kinds of activities, and the people there were really good. They have different places of assisted up to hospice. So, it was great, but it was way too expensive for what we could afford. They had similar apartments outside the complex for just assisted-living. Inside was for people who needed more help. Both were very nice. I had not eaten there, but I saw the kitchen. I saw the food. It smelled, and looked really good. They had TV rooms in all the wings. They had movies. They had exercises, and all kinds of stuff there for the folks that lived there. They could improve on the price. It was very expensive there, otherwise, everything was nice.

Home of Foremost Retirement is nice. They are good. They do everything they are supposed to do. They are better than the nursing home. They help my father in and out of bed. They help him bathe. They help him with everything.

At Foremost Retirement Community, it started off at $2800. The facility itself in the main building was fair. They have an inside building and outside the building, they have a lot of little individual apartments or cottages and other people live in those. The staff was very nice but they didn’t know me; they weren’t as receptive. I saw less interaction. I didn’t see a lot of residents. They had an elevator, but it wasn’t adequate enough. Most of their activities were always upstairs. If you are in a wheelchair, you might get 2 wheelchairs in the elevator, and it goes upstairs and downstairs, so you better get there early to your party or you’re going to be number 10 in line.

I am sorry to learn that your visit to our community was less than stellar... However; you may be confusing details of our campus with someone else. We offer competitive care rates based upon actual care provided. No a la carte or 'surprise' billing here--EVER. Level I care for assisted living starts at $2600.00 per month. Typically, actual quotes for care are not given at the time of tours. A complimentary, home-based pre-placement appraisal is done to determine the level of care needed and ensure the most appropriate placement. You referenced an elevator in your post--this elevator meets or exceeds the guidelines established with the ADA. The size is industry standard. As far as the activities as 'always being upstairs' this is incorrect information. We do utilize this grand salon for resident banquets and special events. The elevator does travel slow and does operates in a much slower fashion. This was intended to keep slow moving passengers and those with special needs, safe. Give us another try. I would be happy to meet with you and discuss what makes FOREMOST a great place to call home.

The door to Dad's unit doesn't lock properly and the common area in my Dad's unit is not maintained well. Dad fell & badly cut his head open. Less than 2 weeks later, I noticed a bruise on his temple. He needs an alarm attached to him and a rail to block his falling from bed. Both of these things were requested two weeks ago but still aren't there. He's a skeleton. He should get supplements to his meals but don't think that's happening. Staff is great except for evening staff. They put common TV on zombie movies, do each other's hair, and gab amongst themselves.

Since Dr. Vangala purchased the facility, I have noticed a vast improvement in the quality of care, attitude of caregivers, amount and variety of food, etc. Having Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care all in one location was a real blessing for my friend.
