My sister will be moving into The Country House. I like it. It's a good place and it's clean. They had lots to do, they had gardens and a yard, and the grounds were beautiful. The people were very warm, and it's very homey. She will be in assisted living. The staff members were very forthcoming. I saw them in action with the residents. They're very helpful and they seemed concerned and sincere about the care that they give them. They're warm and gentle, and they seemed very patient. I was there when they were eating, but I didn't have lunch there. I can go and have lunch there any time, but the food looked and smelled good. Everybody looked to be eating contentedly. The rooms were very nice. They had a bed and some very nice furniture you could use, or you could bring your own. They were very clean, well lit, good sized, and very nice. They have physical therapy, arts, outings where they take the clients out for lunch, games, and music. There's no shortage of activities there. The staff was very open and very forthcoming. They seemed dedicated to making the place what it is. I have nothing ill to say about them. She's not living there yet, but she actually picked it. It was just a pleasant surprise to find it because it was so warm. It had a very good feel to it. My sister is looking forward to it, which I didn't expect.

I am a friend or relative of a resident
My Mother has been a guest a Country Commons for almost two years. She has thrived in the environment and is cared for by the most compassionate staff I have ever encountered. She and I are treated like we are family and I am welcome to visit any time day or night. If I am there at meal times I am always invited to stay and eat with her and the meals are always great. The facility is well cared for and the secure backyard is very relaxing. There are many activities where family and friends are invited to attend. If you have to make the very hard decision to place your loved one this is the place to go.

I am a friend or relative of a resident
I visited my Grandmother at Country Commons, the Alzheimer's section of Country Village, many times during her stay. She was in the late stages of Alzheimer's and needed consistent care that we could not provide at home. The facilities were the nicest I have seen at any nursing home, providing and upscale, clean and calm home setting for it's residents. The staff genuinely cares for it's residents, and many of the people who worked there remained friends of the family after my grandmother passed away. They have activities, provide meals, and care tenderly for the residents on a daily basis. We would often go and have family dinners there with my grandma, and the staff would set up a special room so that we weren't dining with any of the other residents if we liked. The furniture is kept up very nicely, and the facility does smell funny like most other places.
