I visited this facility

Atria Campana del Rio's location was good. It's not close to our house, but it's closer than a lot of other places, and we wanted to be able to be close to my mother. The room had a little patio. You could put up a couple of lawn chairs and sit outside, so it's your own little patio. It was right near the dining room, so my mother wouldn't have very far to go. So even if she couldn't find anything else there, she could at least get to the dining room. They have a place where they have low-profile bikes and stuff. And I think my mother is going to need to keep working on her exercising a little. So those were the things, that weight room thing and where the room was located. The price was very good, too. The price was reasonable. My mother is going as an independent but if we need to, we can have assistance as much as we need. So I like the options of Atria better as far as they seem to leave it up to us more. The guy that we talked to was Kelvin, and he was awesome. We had lunch there, and it was amazing. It was very good. Everybody seemed happy.

The apartments at Atria Campana Del Rio were nice. My mother did not like the entrance and there was quite a bit of a little slope and a hill going down into the entrance. They have arts and crafts, and exercise, and we saw them doing some dance, karaoke or something like that. The person who greeted us was wonderful. She was very nice and very informative. It was clean.

Person in charge of visits/tours, Kevin was short tempered, rude, and just counter intuitive for abilities in the area of help in any way.

Atria Campana Del Rio was pretty good. The people were exceptionally nice. Everybody was polite to me. I got there before the meeting because I had to find the place. I asked them for some coffee and they actually brought me breakfast, which actually tasted good. Kevin, the guy I talked to, had a great personality. The apartments looked good, clean, and nice. They had a movie theater with movie theater chairs, and that was just really nice. The dining area was very nice and very clean. Kevin showed me where they prepared the food and it was very clean. He also showed me the laundry rooms with two washers and two dryers.

Atria Campana Del Rio is a good fit for Mom. It offered a lot of the same things that she was used to and then a few more things. I like the staff that I've met so far and she has participated in activities like the Mexican train. They also have cards, bingo, trivia, and luau. They have more activities with the bus where they do field trips to take them places like movies. The food has been excellent, too.

Atria Campana Del Rio was nice, but the people working there didn't seem happy. They weren't very friendly and they weren't smiling. It just didn't feel that they were welcoming. The staff who gave us the tour was nice, but a little preoccupied. I think he just didn't take us too seriously. We had a meal there and it was fine.

My mother will be moving into Atria Campana Del Rio. It was very nice, and a very gracious and friendly facility. They had extremely nice amenities. The dining facility was one of the best compared to any kind of restaurant. We were able to have a meal during our tour and it was excellent. She will be having a 1-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. The staff was compassionate and knowledgeable.

It's been a very positive experience with Atria Campana Del Rio. The people are very friendly and my uncle is enjoying the meals that are prepared there. The overall facility is very nice and I think the price is really good for what you get. There's multiple things going on every day for the residents.

I visited the Atria Campana Del Rio. They offer both independent living and assisted living, but it's all mixed up and not in separate buildings. The thing that was unique about this place is that they had several villas that were separate from the main living place. And those 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom villas were of interest to me. The property was beautiful and clean. The gal who showed me around was pleasant and informative, but she seemed to get the idea from me that this was going to be a second choice. So she didn't invest in saying lots of things. It's very neat and nice, and the way it's laid out is lovely. I saw a 1-room and a villa, which was really nice, I didn't see any shabby furniture.

Everybody at Atria Campana Del Rio was wonderful. The homes were lovely. The staff was terrific. We toured the outside of the facility and the grounds. We saw their amenities and they were doing a yoga class, and it was wonderful. Everybody seemed really happy. The food was good. We didn't try the food from the dining hall, but we ate at their cute little cafe, and they had snacks and stuff, so that was really nice. They're all really nice. The atmosphere was good. The facility looked great, and they were working on it, updating it, and upgrading it. The staff during the tour was lovely, very friendly, and very nice. They're very welcoming at the front. They were doing a lot of maintenance and a lot of work, and changing a lot of stuff, so some of the places were hard to get into, but that's to be expected.

I saw Atria Campana Del Rio. It was great, but a little bit out of my price range. Atria has a large property located in midtown. It's a very nice area in the foothills. I used to live across the street from it, in the apartment community. It's a very large community. It's a little bit disorienting to tour. I just found it to be overwhelming, quite frankly, as nice as it was. It had all the amenities most places have. That was the thing that was mostly negative to me. And also on the site, it was priced mid-range like $2000, but when I toured, they indicated that it was much more than that. The rooms were of nice size. They had a two-bedroom layout. Most had patios and large patios out into the garden. The person toward me was just concerned about whether or not I could pay. The dining area was very large. It had skylights. They have chapel services. They have game rooms. They have exercise classes.

We went to Atria Campana Del Rio yesterday. It has all levels of care and it has villas, too. We were impressed. The facility was beautiful, and they were talking about remodeling though I didn't see anything that needs remodeling. It's gorgeous. The grounds were gorgeous and well-kept. We looked at an apartment that was quite roomy for a one-bedroom. We had lunch there and the food was fabulous. The director met with us and she's just an amazing woman and very knowledgeable. Her mom had lived in the facility, so she knew a lot about it. They intersperse the memory with regular care. If I had memory issues, my husband could stay in the apartment with me and I could still get the services I needed. They gave us a list and they have all kinds of activities. They have a pool where they do exercise, they have yoga, church services, art classes, and all kinds of stuff, and that's something we would be looking for. The building didn't smell like urine or anything. It had no odor to it. They give you like two hours of services with maintenance. They'll hang pictures and televisions or whatever. We met other people that worked in the facility. They're very impressive people. It's well-maintained and well-staffed.

Atria Campana del Rio was excellent. The staff was very caring and the director of sales was very helpful in getting us the room and showing us. They also encouraged people to come and see the facilities and we did. He took us around personally and we saw everything along with the room my husband would stay in. They were very helpful. They had once-a-week housekeeping, and they did all the linens. Everything was taken care of. We didn't have to do anything except bring a suitcase with clothes. They had so many activities. My husband had a choice of whether to participate or not. He had a one-bedroom with a small kitchen and a living area, so it was a very nice setup. The only consideration was the cost, but the cost was probably that way for anybody. It was expensive. They had current events, my husband did bible study, and he did some strength and balance exercising. He did a few of the other things, too. Everybody was helpful and pleasant. He said the food was very good. I think that they were very conscientious about health because of COVID and all of that. They kept everybody informed if any cases came up, and there were a few while he stayed there, but it's a big facility, so you wouldn't necessarily have to come in contact with those people. It was clean and tidy. The grounds were well taken care of.

I am staying at Atria Campana Del Rio. The facility is moderately sized and very easily navigated. The service is very good. The staff and room are excellent. The food is OK. The dining area is very nice but very noisy. I like the setting and the staff. We have outside and inside activities. We have a pool. They keep the day very full in terms of options and however much you want to be involved. I have a balcony in my apartment that looks down over the common pool and outdoor area. They have very nice gardens.

I will be moving into Atria Campana del Rio. My overall impression was that it was well run, they offer a lot of amenities, and all the people I've met are really nice. They were very helpful, and very personable, so I had a good interaction with them. They have a pool, they have a small exercise room, they have activities, and they have transport to local shopping. It's a continental breakfast plus one meal a day, and you can pick whether it's lunch or dinner. It's close by a city linear park, so there is a very convenient walking location nearby. The place has weekly housekeeping.

I'm staying in Atria Campana del Rio in Tucson. I'm independent living. They help me with some of my needs, but I do my own meds and stuff. For activities, they have musical entertainment, yoga, and all kinds of different games. They also have movies, exercise, and they have a gym. They have pretty much anything, even Wii bowling. Every week I get a list of what activities are available for the week. It's new for each day. I have good communication with them. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is incredible. I can't say enough about it. Yesterday for lunch, we had Reubens, and they were done perfectly. Last night we had coconut shrimp, and you can always get a salad, hotdogs, hamburgers, grilled cheese, and chicken nuggets. If you don't like what they're having, there's always something else. They always have soup and fresh fruits, so it's amazing. The food is done really well too, that's one of their best attributes. They say that's one of the things they provide, and they do. The facility is clean and big. I have to do some walking, so it's good for me.The activities are good. They're not perfect, but they do a good job. They're trying, and it's improving now that it's pandemic. They're gradually bringing more things in now.

Atria Campana Del Rio is an independent living and my mom is very happy there. Various activities are there for her to do and she likes the food. The people are all very friendly and very responsive to requests or something like that. The ground facility itself, the inside is kept extremely clean. The grounds are very nice and well kept up. She loves her accommodations. It's a one-bedroom, there's a patio out, she's on the second floor, and it's very clean when she moved in. She really likes it there. I don't think she's been into the library yet, but as far as the courtyard where the swimming pool is, she doesn't swim, but she goes out there. She's been attending strength and balance class, which is held every day. She feels very safe there. There's a beauty salon onsite that she's already visited twice. As we get COVID under control, they've told me that they'll be having a lot more activities onsite. She goes outside and walks on her own around the facility, which she wouldn't be doing if she didn't feel safe. She's happy with the cost and the benefits that she is receiving.

Campana del Rio is a friendly up-beat community. The staff are most helpful. The services good. You have a wide choice of spacious apartments to choose from, most have balconies. The food is tasty and ample with many choices of delicious entrees, salads and deserts. Convenient transportation is available to doctor and other appointments as well as to shops and other trips. Exercise classes, line dancing, memory enhancement and yoga classes are just some of the stimulating activities. Movies, quizzes and games add to the fun too!!

We only saw the independent living facility at Atria Campana Del Rio, and we had to walk outside for everything. They were even more structured than the other place we visited. It was kind of old and dark. They were very conscientious about hand sanitizer and gloves at the entry and lobby. The staff was very nice and probably more business-like. We did not try the food there. We walked by the pool, and it was a nice outside area. We walked into the dining area, and nobody was in there. It was empty, but it seemed very nice with light windows. During this COVID, tables were socially distanced. They were definitely following all those protocols. We just felt like the rooms were dark and no washer and dryer hookups.

We're really pleased with Atria Campana Del Rio. There are lots of activities for my mother to do, she's making friends, she loves the food, and it's easier for her to get around. They have two buildings, and she's in the smaller one. She'll be able to stay in her own apartment if she has to move to another level of care. They have studio and one-bedroom apartments. The staff is nice and super helpful. They have an exercise room and little library spots.

My sister was in Atria Campano Del Rio, and it was a fabulous facility. However, it wasn't a lock-down facility, she got lost, and they were worried for her safety. Mom is moving in at the independent living of Atria Campana del Rio. She might be going into assisted living after a few months, but she gets to stay in the same apartment. She doesn’t have to move out, which is a big plus. They have a lot of activities. The place looks nice, and the dining room is nice. I just have a really good feeling about the whole place. Everything looks clean. They have nurse practitioners, and they will take you to your doctor. They have on-site rehab. I was just really impressed walking around the grounds and looking at everything. The food is really good, and they have a lot of options. The main menu is changed every day but they also have a set menu, which has a lot of choices like steak, chicken, fish, shrimp, and burgers. They have a lot of sides and desserts, and you can have wine with your meal if you want to. They have happy hour activities. They offer 2 meals a day, breakfast and lunch or dinner, and the dining room is open from morning until 6 in the evening. The place isn’t really new, but it is well kept. I got more of a homey feeling in this place.

I visited Atria; it was a nice facility, and I’ve nothing bad to say about it, but it was not a good fit for my aunt. Their staff to patient ratio was 1 to 10. They have a set fee for the level of care, but every single thing needed is an added cost, plus they’re the ones that would decide if the level of care needed to be increased, and I didn’t like that. Also, they only provide 2 meals and not 3.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I have been in Atria Campana del Rio for almost a week. I especially like the feeling of community in here. I’ve been sitting around at tables at mealtimes, at different places, and meeting different people. Everybody is friendly, and they have stories to tell. The people who work here are very friendly, nice, and helpful and they foster a let’s-everybody-get-to-know-everybody atmosphere. When you go down to eat, and you’re in a table where you didn’t know anybody, everybody introduces themselves and we all talk about experiences we had and things we learned in life. In no way have I felt like an outsider. This facility fits my personality and my socialization better. I haven’t been here long enough to do a lot, but the choices of weekend movies are very good. The real downside for this place as far as I’m concerned is the swimming pool; it’s small and only 4 feet deep. I got the 2 bedrooms that I wanted. The rooms are all in a single building in different quarters so you have more of a chance of running into somebody. This kind of arrangement where everybody has their own rooms and where they get to put some of their own pictures, art, or knick knacks on a shelf outside the room gives other people a little sense of your personality, and I like it.

We were looking at the Villas at Atria. We liked them, but some were facing River Road. Even though there’s a wall, you can hear the traffic, so we were trying to get one away from the road. The visit at Atria was nice. The lady was very knowledgeable, the rooms were nice, and they were of good size. They had separate buildings that had walkways connecting them, but in some cases you had to actually go outside in the building and go to the other buildings for some activities. I am pretty sure each building had a dining area. They had linens, but it wasn’t like a really classy restaurant; it was more of a coffee shop. There were some people playing cards, and I believe they had a billiard room. I didn’t see a lot of people doing stuff, but again, it was around lunch time. There were some people waiting for transportation to go some place, it was nicely landscaped, and the common areas were furnished nicely.

My mother knew somebody in Atria; that’s why we chose it. Cleanliness was fine; however, it charges too much. They have continued to raise their fees every year since she’s been there. The services remained the same, and the food is not as good since she moved there. They also have an enormous amount of theft. They have lots of activities for the residents. They have different evening activities you can go to around the community.

I had mom at Atria Campana Del Rio. The main reason we had her in there was financial because it was the least expensive. The staff were fine. They do have a small pool and an exercise area. Mom was in the assisted living at Atria Campana Del Rio for two weeks. I can't say anything bad about them; they were wonderful. They were the ones who told my brother that she really needed memory care. It's very near to shops, walking distance to churches. There is a public transportation right there and they also have a shuttle from Atria that takes them to the malls, movies, and other activities in town. They would have taken her to church and picked her up from church, but she didn’t want to "bother them." The facility is immaculate. The food is wonderful. It's like being in a 5-star hotel.

Atria has been around for a number of years. It was clean, and it seemed to be nice. The rooms were small, but they were very efficient. They had a small kitchen and a bathroom. One efficiency room that I saw had a separate bedroom. I like the whole facility. I like the way it was set up. They had a library and a swimming pool. They had various activities like crafts, etc. They had a cafeteria, and they served two meals a day. We didn't taste the food, but they did give us banana bread, and that was good. The dining room was a beautiful and very nice area. The staff was very friendly and very nice. They were knowledgeable.

If my father-in-law had to go somewhere and I had to choose, I would choose Atria Campana Del Rio. It was close to us. The room we looked at was a two-bedroom unit. The room was nice. It had bathroom and a kitchen; however, it was on the second floor, which really didn't fly for my father-in-law. They had us at lunch, which was nice. The dining room was nice too. It was all central, like a big dining area in the center. It was very good. We had a lady who took us there, and she was very nice. The staff seemed nice, the little bit of time we were there. They had activities scheduled, but I don't know what they were.

Atria was nice. I had lunch there, and I found the food very good. As we walked around, one lady resident said, "I wouldn't live any place else." I also watched a group playing bridge there, and I love to play bridge.

We went to Atria Campana Del Rio. It's a pretty big facility, but it's beautiful and clean. I think it would be a lovely place to live. They were very thorough in explaining the things that they had. They were very helpful in laying out all the programs, and it depended on the level of care that the person was receiving. For each level of care, they had activities that were appropriate for them. They took them to the store, bank, and mall. There were lots of outings available. They offered church services, and they would even take them out to church if they wanted. They offered bingo, movies, and TV. I know that the independent living even had a pool. They invited us to have a meal, and it was delicious. The menu had everything for everybody. It had a wide selection of meats, salads, vegetables, and desserts, so anybody who had a special diet could pick something out of that menu. My mother had a stroke, and she had difficulty in cutting her meat with her right hand. They offered to cut her meat for her, and they brought her meat already cut. So, if you specified that you needed something like that, they would fix it to suit your need. However, it wasn't quite what my father needed.

Atria Campana Del Rio was very nice. They have assisted living, independent living, and for those who need it, Alzheimer's care. They have very nice facilities. It seemed very comfortable and very clean. They have a community room where they can watch TV or play cards. They also have a workout facility. They have a lobby, so people who want to visit with their family and friends can visit there. The rooms were beautiful. The one we saw had a balcony that looks out to the garden. Overall, it was a very beautiful and very lovely place. Food was great. The staff was wonderful and very gracious. The only thing we didn't care for was that it was very large. Also, they have a lot of extras that were very expensive, like if my mother needed assistance taking a shower, they charge $35 extra each time, so that was a lot.

Atria is a bit downscaled from the other places I’ve seen. It was a better deal for your money. If price is a major factor, I would definitely say check out this place. The staff is very nice and very pleasant.

My mother-in-law has been at the Atria for two months. She's happy. So far, there seems to be very good care. It was cost-effective from where she was. They have nice facility, amenities. The rooms are very nice, roomy, handicap-friendly. She has a nice view in her room. It's very elegant. The grounds are well-maintained. It’s nice and clean.

I looked at the rooms and talked to some people about the programs at Atria. I had lunch there. Everybody was great. They are very positive there with their clients. It's a nice place to be. The place is very welcoming, casual, and people are welcome there. The rooms are very nice and very comfortable. I went to one of the entertainment moments they have there. They had a fellow come to sing. It looks like a very relaxing place to be. But they're very expensive. I thought it would be a good place for my husband to live.

Atria is in a very nice section of Tucson but it's not close to the hospital. It had plain decorating and the location is nice. Hopefully when I move in that they'll have the same chef because the chef was excellent, the food was excellent. I liked everything about it. The marketing person was very, very nice. What they show you is a 1-bedroom and it was a nice size. I liked the size for myself. They just show you the activity room, it looked like it was very satisfactory. They give you a copy of their month's activities and they seem to have a lot of activities. Every single day you have a choice between 6 and 8 different activities that you want to participate in. If someone ever asked me, I would recommend it.

Atria Campana del Rio was beautiful. It was a great place. It had a landscape and the facility was clean. They gave us lunch and it was very tasty. The whole experience was good. However, we weren't able to put mom there because mom was not going to live much longer.

My mom was at Atria Campana Del Rio. The facility was very big. The grounds were very nice. Every room was nice. It got a nice view but other than that, I didn't see any a lot of interaction with people there. They were not keeping enough staff to take care of the people that were there. They got a new director who just changed all kinds of stuff. My mother was really, really unhappy.

Atria Campana Del Rio was really nice. My mom fell in love with it, but she couldn't afford it. The community was great. Everything was set up. It has really nice grounds and the rooms were nice. It felt more like an apartment living. The staff was friendly. The food was really good. They also have an exercise room, computer room, arts and crafts room, and a library.

Other

My Caregiving business has 3 clients that we serve. I have come thru many days, different hours, weekends and have never been disappointed, in the service my clients recieve. Not only my clients are treated with dignity, but I am treated like family everyday. Each department is different, and I don't know everyone, but staff always pass with a cheery smile and greet myself and my client (s). There is always a list of activities and events, in the Activity department. I have gone on many events, even joined in one or more lunches. The prices are excellent and affordable, and you can ask Activity staff any questions about upcoming events. One of my favorites are the ladies, that control the mighty Atria, the front Lobby Receptionists. That work hard, with no thank you! They do because it is their job. Thank you for doing this job, so well. "Thanks Tina, for that extra smile, and special touch". This is my good experience with Campana Del Rio. I hope you have the chance to visit yourself. P.S.- Don't forget the Dining Room, the cleanliness and kindness of their hard workers, will impress you and your loved one. Thank you Chefs. It is a good experience everyday, and I hope to be able to work with this Respected company for a long time. Atria also has the happiest Residents. Very friendly senior people.
