The average age of our residents ranges between 75-85. Our residents enjoy Happy Hours with live music, and themed special events. They also benefit from our customized exercise classes 7 times a week like Tai Chi and Strength and Balance. The residents and staff utilize our ping pong table, golf simulator, corn hole, Bocce Ball, croquet, and of course giant Jenga. Our gaming area includes poker and card tables for residents who like to compete in Rummikub, Mahjong, Poker, and Bridge to name a few. Outings to museums, restaurants, and sporting events are also a favorite part of Acoya Troon.

We are proud to have our world class chef who has maintained an A plus deficiency free inspection rating for 2020 and 2021. He oversees our culinary experience with daily specials, seasonal menus and superior resident satisfaction. He is able to offer sugar free, gluten free and low sodium options.

Acoya Troon offers a 24/hour concierge/front desk who oversees the main entrance to our community. We have security cameras at all exit/entrance locations and programmed key fobs which allow residents to enter through all locked exterior doors.

We used an app called CareMerge and also communicate through traditional means such as phone, email and mail.

We utilize a "care need-to-resident" ratio which is determined by the amount of time it takes to meet our resident's care needs.

We have a beautiful outdoor dog park were they can run off leash. No agressive breeds allowed. Cats are also allowed. Non-refundable pet deposit of $500 per pet.

Staff has regular training as set forth by the Arizona Department of Health, in addition to In-Service training that is required by our home office.

The average age of our residents who are moving in are between 75-85. They enjoy hiking, golf, tennis, travel, theatre, symphony, card games, exercise, wine tastings, chef demos, and happy hours! Our residents do NOT have to move from their Independeding Living apartment to receive assisted living services.

What places are nearby for independent living residents to enjoy?

Pinnacle Peak hiking trail is a few minutes walk. There are also great restaurants across the street and Four Seasons is less than a mile. More restaurants and shopping is just a 10 minute drive.

Our world class Chef oversees our "scratch kitchen" and delivers a culinary experience our residents enjoy 3 times a day. Our kitchen has been awarded an A rating with no deficiences for 2020 and 2021. We have daily specials and seasonal menus along with our chef talk, chef demos and special events.

What common areas are available for independent living residents?

Library, Fitness Center/Physical Therapy, Day Spa Salon including massage, Virtual Game Room with golf simulator, Arts & Talent Room, Music Room, Bistro, 2 Rooftop Lounges, our Sunset Grill, movie theater with plush seating, courtyard with firepits, putting green and stunning view of Pinnacle Peak.

Our Concierge/Front desk is here 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. We have cameras monitoring our entrance and exit doors with programmed key fob entry.

Non-agressive breed dogs are allowed as well as cats. We have a dog park off our Garden level were they can run and play in a fenced area. There is no pet rent, but we do charge a non-refundable per pet fee of $500.

Does ACOYA Scottsdale at Troon work with an agency or registry to provide nursing and medical assistance as needed?

We have onsite care services. Our nurse is here full-time and our care partners are on site 24/7.

Acoya Troon does not offer memory care and we do not have controlled eagres doors. Our sister community Inspira Arrowhead, does offer specialized memory care.
