We have chosen Phoenix Manor. I think it's a great community. I met a lot of people there already and I've been there a few times. It's highly rated, it is. All the amenities and everything are great. It's a great place. It's secured. The whole place is all one floor, so there are no stairs, and that's what I need because I have COPD. I can't breathe that much, so I can't walk up and downstairs. They took us on a tour and we walked around. Everybody is friendly. Everything seems to be like the way they say. They're pretty good people. It's quiet, nice and comforting. I walked through there just to see everything, and they showed me some places inside to see if I would be interested in any of them. The staff who took me around is retired herself. She walked me around. We looked at how all the places are. The woman who has been handling everything for me has been very kind and thoughtful. For activities, I know they have a hot tub and swimming pool that's all heated. They have entertainment, and then they have other activities like sewing classes and things like that. They have a huge TV room and I like that.

For approximately 9 and ½ years, I resided at the Phoenix Manor. My stay there provided me excellent memories. Office management and staff, as well as the maintenance, painting, grounds and security staff, are very professional, courteous and helpful. I found my apartment and patio charming. The attractively landscaped grounds encourage the residents to walk about the beautiful Manor campus. The friends I made at the Manor are wonderful individuals, and I greatly enjoyed the many Phoenix Manor activities. I highly recommend the Phoenix Manor. Due to recent health developments, I moved last month to an apartment near my primary care physician’s and associated doctors’ offices.

First of all, the staff are friendly but if you have a complaint or need something done that's non emergency it takes awhile to get it done. The hot water pipes have been exploding like crazy. 3 times in the last 4 months. These apartment's don't have a emergency shut off valve too each group of apartments. When a pipe burst, the whole complex is without hot or cold water. If you call the office and ask for an estimate of when the water will be back on, all they can tell you is ( soon) Not an answer. At this place, no one works on the weekends. If something happens on a Friday afternoon your screwed till Monday or Tuesday. I don't like this place. I'm just here waiting for my sons home to be built so I can move out.

I visited Phoenix Manor for myself and my husband. It was very clean, very friendly, and it had everything we needed. The staff was really friendly, and very helpful. Everything looked really good, and that's why we liked it. Pets were OK, and I believe they have a dog park, which was one thing we were looking for because we have two small dogs. They have a library, and they have activities for the community. They give you a calendar, and it's got different activities that you can participate in. I think there was bingo, arts and crafts, and stuff like that. They have a big fountain type pond out in front with ducks in it, and it's really nice. We saw the apartment, and we were going to get into a two-bedroom unit, so it was really good for what we needed.

I am a former resident and gave my 30 notice to vacate...I moved out on the 27th of September and went back on the 28th to clean and shampoo the carpets..I then went to the office and Valerie went with me to inspect the apartment and she told me I should have no problem getting my deposit of $500.00 back...I told her I had lost my husband on the 13th of September and could really use that money. Today is the 29th of October and I am still waiting on my deposit. I called the office and was told this is handled through the corporate office in California...Sad that they want the $$$$ up front but take forever getting it back to you..

My friends live at Phoenix Manor and they recommended that I go there. It is a nice place, but I need more space -- it's too small for me. They have a library and mass every Friday. Compared to other facilities, it is closer to my doctors, shopping centers, and grocery stores.
