We looked at the assisted living of LifeStream Complete Senior Living at Northeast Phoenix. They're very personal. The executive director is the one that gave us the tour because his assistant had to leave early on a personal appointment or something, so that spoke volumes to me. It means he was willing to go the extra mile, not just for the residents, but also for his staff.
It's very orderly and clean. The apartment met her needs. It's enough for her furniture to fit, and that meant a lot to her because that's all she has.
They have piano music, there was a pool and a spa that worked, so people were in there and it looked like they were doing aerobics. I don't know what they call it, but there was like a cat that was there and I thought it was a resident's cat but it's not. The cat works there. It serves as a service animal for the residents, so they can say hi and have animal therapy.
They weren't using the dining area right now, but they look like they're just opening it up in spring, which is around the corner. I did not see the dining room but the menu they have has so much more choices for the residents. In case they cannot eat what's on the menu, they have other options for the residents to pick from.
We didn't get to see the dining room and my mom's language is social. She likes to be social so I know she can't wait till she can start talking to people and being with people. That's the only reason why I would not give a perfect score, that I didn't get to see the dining room. They're not open right now.

We are now in LifeStream Senior Living. We’re in a small duplex rather than in an apartment, and we were able to fence in our backyard for our little dog. There is an indoor swimming pool. We eat our meals here; they are very good, and they are watched very carefully by a nutritionist so I feel comfortable with that. They have exercise classes 2 or 3 times a week, games in the evenings, and a movie every Friday night. I don’t actually take advantage of any of that, but I hear others talking about it.

We went to LifeStream (LifeStream Complete Senior Living at Northeast Phoenix). It is located in a very heavily traffic area. One meal is included and for some reason, it’s lunch not dinner. I wasn’t happy about that. The food is so-so. There isn’t a whole lot of ambience. They don’t have a dining room. They have an all-purpose room, which was the dining room, the meeting room, the exercise room, and the movie room. So that is not something that I would enjoy. It needs a little more ambience for me. The prices were reasonable, but it is not some place that I would be interested in. LifeStream is a bit too casual for me and they only have cleaning once a month.

LifeStream was very nice but very expensive. We had lunch there, and it was very good. The people were very friendly and very informative and knew all of the residents’ names. The staff had been there for years, and when each resident walked by, they would call them by name. It was just very nice.

The lady who entertained us at LifeStream at Northeast Phoenix was very nice and helpful. They do have separate apartments, it's like little houses with bedrooms. The whole facility was clean. The dining was really clean and nice. The area itself is a little bit older area. It may not look very nice on the outside but it's really clean on the inside.

This is a medium sized facility and is well maintained. The facility is secure and the courtyard as they have dementia and Alzheimer residents. The apartments are one and two bedrooms and are built around like patio homes. All are handicapped equipped and partial kitchens.
The grounds have lots of trees, grass, shrubs, and flowers. The courtyard has a patio ans sitting areas. The residents can walk around.
They do housekeeping and laundry.
They do 3 meals a day and snacks. The food is good and has variety of choices.
They have a nice dining room, tv room with a fireplace, a beauty parlor, and heated indoor pool. All the residents sit down at a large table family style.
They have a nurse on duty and all caregivers are certified. They have house doctors who come in and they can transport to appointments.
The staff is friendly and caring.
They do activities with the residents as exercises, games, arts and crafts, movies, and one on one. They have entertainment come in and they have bbq areas in the courtyard. They go on some outings as the residents are able to.
It is a nice facility.

I moved into independent living at LifeStream and it's very good. They feed you one meal a day, either lunch or dinner, and the food's been pretty good. Whenever you want to have something that needs to be worked on, the staff comes and fixes it. I have a 2-bedroom apartment, with one bath, a living room, and a kitchen. It's freshly painted and there's a new faucet in the kitchen and bathroom. They have a list of activities each month, but I havent gone to anything except the men's breakfast. The cost is reasonable.

LifeStream is a great place to live. I am at independent living and the people are very warm. It's like a little village, it's all a 1-story apartment, and you have a carport cover for your car right near your front door.
We do Tai-Chi, there's a swimming pool and we also have exercises at the pool, we have movies on Friday nights and there's bingo. We also organize a play for the seniors here twice a year. It's a gated community and very safe. We're like an extended family.

I thought Lifestream was great. It was nice and clean. They're not high rises. They're just side by side, and they have nice facilities. They have nice activities, too. So I thought that was very nice, plus it's very close to me. The staff was very nice, helpful, and accommodating.
