We went to Westminster Assisted Living and Memory Care of Decatur. It was very good, and it's a very nice, clean place. The staff was very friendly. It was very nice. The staff who assisted us was very nice, very accommodating, and answered all our questions. The room is a studio room. Once you see the furniture in there, it's bigger than you think. There is room for the bed, dresser, chest drawer, and the chairs. There's a large bathroom and a large closet. The facility itself is decorated very nicely and clean. It's very nice. The dining room was very nice. It looked like a restaurant.

Westminster provides resident centered care including individualized care programs from each of our residents. From “House Calls” from the facility physician, to Physical Therapy and Home Health Services, we bring the services to our residents, improving resident care and family satisfaction
Designed for seniors who would enjoy the freedom that come with a studio apartment along with: access to meals; recreational and social activities; housekeeping; fine dining; medication management; recreational and social activities.
Resident care is managed by our Wellness Directors that manage our nursing and care giver staff. Our residents enjoy access to our nursing staff that is on-site 24 hours a day.
- Local Pharmacy that provides white glove service for maintenance medications as well as convenient access in emergency situations.
- Registered Nurse Wellness Director to manage resident care

Memory Care
Both of our facilities have quaint memory care neighborhoods that provide highly specialized care for our memory-impaired residents. The Westminster communities are the only communities in the area to provide Behavioral Based Ergonomics Therapy (BBET) programing for our memory care residents. We are leading the way in modern memory care.
We offer secure memory care neighborhoods in both of our locations with 24-hour nurse onsite nursing care. We provide assistance with activities of daily living, specialized dining experience and group activities that are complimented with our award wining BBET program for our memory impaired residents.
