I think that when they were here, the clients were happy, but there have been two caregivers that has been negative. They liked the caregiver and they were personable. She tried to work to find out what they needed. They need to have better staffing, though.

We exercise, go to the grocery store and things like that. They come when they're supposed to and they're friendly.

They should have people that they can send over. We never know if we are covered. They say they can get someone who can show up to our house, but then they never do. The person we finally have now has been good.

They arrive promptly and do other things than just be there with my loved one. They do the dishes, clean the bathroom, and help with anything I ask them to do. Having them come take care of my husband means I can go out and have lunch with friends or do whatever I want out of the condo.

They are very flexible and they work well with the families to provide the best care. (Possible discharge interview.) They have been a life saver to me. I don't know who else to get to care for my mother, and they were able to provide the care when we were unable to.

I only have one visiting angel, but she is very good. However, it disturbs me that when my caregiver cannot come, Visiting Angels does not seem to have a backup person for her. If my caregiver is not able to come for a day, I wish that Visiting Angels would contact me and let me know that she's not coming for me.

I have had the same caregiver for over a year now, and she does everything and then asks if there is anything else she can do. The total interaction and trust that we have is insurmountable. I had a heart attack and some major health issues, so I cannot do even simple things, like doing laundry and cleaning the floors.

If I ever have a problem, they are right there to pick me up, and they'll play games with me. I like the caregivers who come here. When I need help, they are right there. They help me transfer, and they are there to help. I am able to accomplish things with their help that I would normally not be able to.

They have poor service. When they decide not to keep you as a patient, they just sort of drop you without any worries or recommendations. The fact that they dropped me as a client doesn't sit well with me. I am disabled, and I can't drive anymore.

I was promised somebody would be here on a certain day and they wouldn't show up, or when nobody was supposed to be here, they would show up. I specifically asked for people with experience. There was lack of training. I've tried Visiting Angels three times and it's been the same experience every time. Their scheduling and experience would be the biggest thing that was wrong.

They do not have enough staff that works there. They cannot get you a replacement for weeks. I had one good caregiver for years, and now it has been spotty.

Visiting Angels should care about their clients more. I wish that I could take care of my own life, but I do need the services. I just had a situation happen that I could have lived without. Amber wants me to go to a care facility and I don't want to do that. I also had a caregiver steal from me and I still haven't gotten my property back. I don't even know if the owner is working to get it back.

I would recommend Visiting Angels because we have one caregiver who is excellent and mom never argues with them, they do all of her exercises with her, but my mother controls the other one more. My mother dictates to the one what they're going to do, but it's excellent with the other! We would be lost without the service! There are six of us, but only two of us that are basically involved with being here for my mom.

Visiting Angels is such a big help in my home each day. They do very well in my home. Visiting Angels makes my life easier by having caregivers in my home who do my laundry for me. They do things for me that I am no longer able to do on my own.

I am unlikely to recommend Visiting Angels because I had so many different caregivers. I would have preferred to have one or two caregivers. Several of the caregivers came in smelling like smoke, which I didn't appreciate. I got tired of having so many different caregivers.
