Some of the caregivers have not been too helpful. I have been disappointed with hearing from my mom that some of the caregivers do not come with the enthusiasm and desire to help.

They see my mother and I don't have to worry about her getting her medication and be up to see her if she up, and they notify me of any problem. The quality services I get from Birdie and at night there is a girl named Shauna who does an excellent job and makes my mom feel excellent.

The caregivers have helped the most in dressing the client and undressing in the evening. I like that I can call, and they are able to handle minor tasks as well as large and specific things that I need done. I tell people here about them all the time. It's local, and the people are able to come in and help. A lot of people here, when they arrive at this facility, they need a little extra help but don't need anything that is going to qualify for long-term care. I suggest them all the time to people who live here. I tell them to start with this agency before they hire some expensive individual to come in.

At the time, I was working full time, and my brothers are still working, so it's so nice to know that they are in safe and good hands. The caregivers are very well. I feel like we're trying to keep the same caregivers so that my parents don't have strangers, but that's kind of hard to get people to work on the weekends. They use the same pool of people. They take into consideration the importance of our parents' care. They are very compassionate, very flexible, and accommodating.
