They could have helped me along with sitting up and things like that. They could have assisted a little with the therapy.

The one that helped us the best would fold clothes and would work weekends sometimes. The first girl was really good but she worked at the hospital and we wanted someone who wasn't in a hospital setting, because of the virus.

The VA only approved for me to have nine hours and I wish I had help for five days a week instead of just two days. I don't know if there's anything they can do about that though. They usually ask me if there's anything I need.

He has suffered a stroke, and they are there to make a difference in his life. They come right in and do the work and ask what I need done and they look around for more things to do.

They are very reliable and knowledgeable about my father's needs. They have been very impressive about following protocol during this virus. They have very good caregivers that they send to my parents and when the regular caregivers cannot make it, they are able to send additional caregivers.

I could not have done it without them. They went above and beyond in any way they could. I could not have asked for more. They were very reliable and their were a lot of times where things changed and they were always flexible. There were times that they dealt with me when I was close to being close to hysterics.

It is nice to have someone to do some of the physical things that I am not able to do myself. It relieves me of the stress. I wish they would train their workers a little bit more and better because they need to do it differently to make sure they are qualified to do what is required.

She talked to my brother who hadn't seen my father in three years, and they allowed my him to drive my mother home and it was really stressful for my dad. My brother didn't know what shape she was in and what she needed. I didn't want my mom brought home yet. I had to drive ten hours, leaving my daughter who had a stroke, to come fix this. I tried to work with her, and she got upset and I really tried to work with her. The office also ran charges on our credit card without authorization. The VA service was supposed to pay half of it, and they didn't let us know the VA hadn't authorized it.

They have done a very good job taking care of my mother and things have improved in her mobility. I am out of town, and they keep very close tabs for me, and with any problem they quickly get out to me.

I have not had anyone in a couple of weeks since our caregiver quit. They help him when he wanders. He doesn't know when he has to go. That's been a help.

He doesn't like them. That's him, though. I was gone. I know he's never happy when he's here. I'm never sure what's going on. I only use them when I have to leave. Everyone that has come out has been good. I just haven't been excited about the actual caregivers. It's average.

They give me peace of mind. They give good companionship for my mother. I know that she is eating her meals because they're there making them and giving them to her. They're punctual and compassionate. They're accommodating and on top of it. When I call, I don't have a problem.

I had one caregiver that was on her phone the entire time she was here. There were other caregivers that came that were good but couldn't come as often as I would like. I would like a consistent caregiver instead of someone different everyday.

I love my family member, but I need some time away for myself where I am not dealing with him all the time. The caregivers give that time to me. The caregivers just have certain duties that they cannot perform, such as giving medication. I understand that. My loved one is a social person, but ended up isolated since this disease happened. The caregivers sit and talk with him. I am so happy when I see them doing that.

A few of them go out of their way to throw balls with him and stuff like that. They are very flexible with scheduling. Someone from the office would show up if a caregiver couldn't show up.

It was a hard situation, so it was difficult to connect at times, but I know they tried. Sometimes there was confusion on what we were requesting with appointments. There was a lot of cancellations and reschedules with caregivers and last minute changes. They were a good company, overall.

It has made a big difference in my father's life to have the care there. It would make a bigger difference if we had consistency. I think there are two areas where they improve. The people they hire are good, but in our case, we have a lot of different caregivers and there isn't consistency. Sometimes the details don't get followed through on. The communication needs to improve and we need to have a regular rotation of the same people.
