Gentle Hands literally saved my life when it came down to assisting both of my elderly parents. My mom has dementia and my dad is 97 years old. They have worked above and beyond the call of duty to assist me and my family. The staff that runs this agency are responsive, respectful, warm, compassionate and trustworthy. The caliber of caregivers that have taken care of my parents are bar to none. They take care of my parents as if they were their own. They have become a part of our family. This agency lives up to their name and I will forever be grateful! As we all my have experienced at some point it our lives that good work and help is not easy to come by. You can count on Gentle Hands to give you the best care needed for the elderly who deserve as much care as possible while they are on this earth. Gentle Hands provided 12-hour (9pm-9am) home health aides for my sister. The service aides are unparalleled in their timely arrival, trustworthiness, care, efficiency, kindness, and positivity. Moreover, they have genuine authenticity as human beings and---a welcome sense of humor.

My family is eternally grateful for Ms. Ruthlynn our Aunt's aide. Since day we knew she was the perfect person to assist our 87 year old aunt who had just lost her husband to Covid. Ruthlynn is compassionate, caring and kind. She cooks, cleans, shops does laundry takes her to doctors appointments and so much more. She works well independently with little or no direction. She knows and does what is required.. We are blessed to have her. Her presence and companionship gives us comfort. Ruthlynn is extraordinary and a credit to her profession! Ms. Selden is relatively new to "the family." She has proven to be an asset as well. She brings comfort and joy to my Aunt and for that we thank her! These two women are remarkable caregivers and are to be appaulded for all they do for the elderly especially during these trying times with Covid. They are always on time for work and are never absent. The agency has addresses and been responsive when we have had concerns. As long as Gentle Hands Home Care continues to employ quality professionals like our caregivers Ruthlynn and Seldene, I will recommend them to all of our family and friends!

I contacted Gentle Hands as a recommendation from caring.com. Gentle Hands had good reviews but they were very unresponsive to me. Every time they said they would call me back I ended up calling them back. I finally scheduled and paid upfront for a nurse to perform an assessment for my Mother. They met with my sister and my Mom but according to my sister no assessment was performed. When I called they would tell me that they were trying to call me but I had no messages on my phone or phone numbers that they called. I spoke to an employee and said that before I write a survey I'd like to speak with a Manger. A Manager never called me back but the same person I spoke with the day before and again they said they were trying to call me. My Mom passed away before anyone ever called or sent an assessment.

This provider responded within a half hour of my email. They are courteous, efficient, and can provide immediate help when needed. The home health aides are caring, reliable ....always on time , and pleasant. I was never disappointed when I needed a spur of the moment aide, also. I highly recommend this agency.

I needed a home care person to help with caregiving. Caring.com suggested several agencies, and I picked Gentle Hands, who provided an excellent person to help at home. The rate was reasonable. When I requested a change in schedule, GH was very accommodating. I recommend them.
