I was referred to Caregivers by my neurologist because, due to Parkinson's Disease, I have trouble with my balance and gait. They called me almost immediately to set up appointments with a nurse, voice therapist, occupational therapist and physical therapist. I was nearly overwhelmed by the time commitment as I am living independently in a continuing care facility and have specific activities I like to attend.
I definitely got a lot out of the treatment, especially the physical therapy. My gait and balance improved, and I know that if I need more treatment from the physical therapist, he will come again with another referral from my neurologist.
