Cornerstone Hospice & Palliative Care

5 reviews
Diane Horvath: "As the administrator for Granny NANNIES villages location, I have referred many families to Cornerstone hospice and have had our care providers work side by side with the hospice team. I have always known that Cornerstone was a great company. It wasn't until my own father became terminal and deteriorated quickly that I turned to Cornerstone and learned first hand how compassionate Cornerstone was for both patient and family. During hurricane Irma, Cornerstone came imme... (read more)

SuzanneG: "I cannot express how amazing, caring and complete the service my dad received was. Sue came to the hospital the day I decided to not have any life savings measures performed on my dad. Within 6 hours dad was home. Before he arrived Sue from Kindred had made every arrangement from hospital bed, critical care nursing, medication and everything possible to made dads last days on earth comfortable and pain-free. VITAS Inpatient Hospice Unit

1 review
Elaine31: "Vitas’ is absolutely phenomenal. I cannot say enough good about the care and the nurses. She was taken very well care of, and I would recommend them to anyone. They were wonderful. I was there when she died, and the nurses were with me. It was very nice, clean, updated, and always kept-up. They had a beautiful kitchen so the people who were visiting could get coffee or whatever they needed. It’s very comfortable, and they had extra chairs to sit in. "

VITAS Healthcare

Deborah: "My dad is receiving hospice care at home with VITAS Healthcare now and it's absolutely excellent. The nurses in the evening are amazing. We get CNAs during the day, but sometimes their skills are not quite up to par. We have excellent communication from the attending physician and even the staff, so we have no issues with that whatsoever. They provide medication, nutritional needs, incontinence products, wound care products, and DME. They're just very supportive and they hav... (read more)

Good Shepherd Hospice

M. J.: "I asked that Good Shepherd Hospice be called in for my dear friend at the Carpenter’s HOME Estates, who was a patient in the nursing home. Being 97 yrs. young, her body was tired and she needed extra hands to provide her with the caring she so deserved. I will be forever grateful to the nurses who made her transition from life less painful. I learned that Medicare and Medicare both pay for services as long as the patient meets the criteria. So do not wait to ASK about H... (read more)

Hope Hospice and Community Services Inc.

Mej: "Hope Hospice and Community Services was wonderful and just what my mom needed. The staff was great and knew exactly what they needed to do. They knew to leave her alone when she didn’t want to be bothered. They specialize in hospice, but it was only for a limited time. They didn’t tell me when they moved my mom there that she can only stay for two weeks. They had a meeting with me and told me that I had to find another place because my mom had overstayed more than what’s all... (read more)

VITAS Healthcare

Dissappointing: "Very sad at level of care given to our family member. Constantly told how many patients they had. After 3 weeks told my sister was now classified as critical and would receive 24 hour hospice nurse for 4 days until a bed opened up in a hospice house. First day bed opened up and immediately was taken by another patient. Next day they call again that a bed is available and again call back and say it’s not. Vitas sends out a director that they say is a huge deal to get him t... (read more)

Good Sheperd Hospice

5 reviews
Dennis: "My father went into Good Shepherd Hospice. I saw the care that they gave him in the last five days of his life and I would just give them top ratings for the care that they gave him. Our family is making a donation there, that's how strongly we feel about the care that they gave him. They were fantastic with my father. I would give them the highest ratings, both the facility and the staff, specifically the doctor that cared for him."

Cornerstone Hospice - Osceola County

Lindylou007: "I was very disappointed in Cornerstone In Home Hospice care. They came for 30 minutes 2 or 3 times a week. First, I never received the comfort package for my mother that was supposed to be received no later than the second visit. I told them a week before my mother passed that I had never received it. In fact, I eventually did receive it AFTER she passed away. Because of this, I was left to scramble for hard to obtain drugs to make my mother more comfortable at the end. S... (read more)
