The Elizabeth Hospice

2 reviews
Lori: "The Elizabeth Hospice was absolutely wonderful. They were very kind, and any time there was a question or need to come out, they were there within a reasonable time. They provided all the equipment and compassion, and took care of all the needs of my stepfather and the family. They were readily available and went to my stepfather's home."

Sharp HospiceCare

1 review
Caring Friend6: "We did use Sharp HospiceCare for a short period of time, but the person we were caring for passed away. At that time, they provided a hospital bed, oxygen, and some medications that my friend needed. The caregiver who they provided came about every three days and she did very well. "

St Jude Hospice - Pasadena

1 review
Andrew13: "St. Jude Hospice was a good thing. They did all the medical stuff. They brought out oxygen; they talked to my mom. They realized how bad it was, and within a week, she was in a hospice care house, and then days later, she passed. She was 94, so she had a long life. It was through St. Jude Hospital. The hospice part of it is all paid for by social security. It's not overly expensive, but $140 a day will add up. They told me she was a grade 5, so she took 24-hour care. They h... (read more)

Silverado At Home - San Diego

Melissa Genewich: "My grandmother recently passed away and was on Silverado Hospice care. Our entire experience with Silverado has been nothing short of wonderful! After meeting with our first point of contact, Lindsay, the choice was easy and from that point forward, not once did they disappoint. Lindsay made us feel so comfortable in her caring way as she thoughtfully and carefully outlined all of the services that Silverado provides. She even helped us select the perfect care facility f... VITAS Healthcare

6 reviews
wer: " We had Vitas for my father for 2 weeks. Every nurse that walked into the room did not know why my dad had hospice care. They made very inappropriate comments about his care and what he should be doing. There is no mechanism in place for nurses or care givers to know what the situation is before they arrive. Even the chaplain made inappropriate comments! The nurses were very nice and seemed competent - but they walked into my dad's room blind. At the end, they were no... (read more)

Kindred Hospice

1 review
TheyDonotcare: "I am very disappointed in the services that my mother received from Odyssey Hospice during her dying process. The staff at Odyssey new that she probably only had a week to live yet no one came by to see her that week as they indicated that they would we had one visit from the nurse but that was about it. I left a message for the nurse two days before she died so she could check her but she did not even show up until after she had passed away. We relied completely on the care... (read more)

LightBridge Hospice

1 review
flossieg: "Do not use this hospice! I have been a client of theirs since Jan 2013. They have provided only minimum service (three hours a week) one nurse visit and one to two health aide visits. When I had a problem at night getting into bed they told me to call the fire department. For this service they are getting over $5000 a month. What a rip off. "
