Right at Home was such a gift to my father and my family. When I contacted them they were able to begin helping me right away. I started using them as a med reminder. It was so important to me that I didn't have to wonder if my father was remembering to take them 4 times a day. It was also a relief that someone kind and caring was stopping in to see him and encouraging him to eat. They did everything I asked of them with a smile and kindness. They did things I didn't even know they were doing, taking out the garbage, doing a load of laundry! I ended up needing 24 hour care for my Dad to be sure he wouldn't hurt himself by falling. I was there alot of the time and saw for myself how they allowed him to maintain his dignity while helping him. They actually sat on an office chair outside his bedroom door where they could see him the entire time they were there. They were compassionate and able to help my family know what to expect and how to comfort us. I told them to reach out to me if there was a question or concern and they did and I appreciated it. I will recommend them to friends and family and if the need arises I will work with them again. I am very grateful for the service they provide.

She doesn't have huge needs, it's more just helpful than necessary. This rating isn't a reflection on their abilities. They're able to do a shared service plan rather than having to do the 4 whole hours, and that's very convenient for us. Also, the vast majority of their aides are awesome.

Some of the caregivers are diligent and dedicated, where as other caregivers are not unpleasant, but they don't show that same level of commitment.

My grandmother Katie C. is able to stay in Independent living because of RAH and that is HUGE. It is hard being 6 hours away, but I am at ease knowing that she has caregivers she enjoys that provide her the care she needs to be as Independent as possible at 88 years old. The RAH caregivers check in on her 2x per day, give her med reminders and just interact with her, all of which are very important to us. We would highly recommend this agency.

I had three or four caregivers here, and each one had unique characteristics, but none of them really took care of my loved one. I needed time to myself and that's what they provided. They didn't seem to do much else, though. They have to have someone who knows how to handle the bookkeeping, and I don't think the caregivers did the job that they were supposed to do.
