I am a past client of this provider

Stay very far away, unless you dislike your loved one. I will always carry the scars of the very low treatment this horrible organization delivered to my mother at the end of her life. The nurses at Avow should not be trusted with livestock, let alone people. I filed complaints and made our disposition known to the company and they did nothing. Illustrating just how poor they are. So many are happy with them, I think if you want assisted death with little or no compassion, this is the place to go.

Amazing place. I can’t say enough about Avow. It was like a suite with a private lanai. Extremely clean, very organized and all staff were extremely COVID conscious. Staff was always on time or available anytime I needed them. They were the most caring folks I’ve experience outside of family. When my wife was home they always responded with support whenever I needed it. Anytime of the day. You all should be so proud of yourselves for the compassion you showed me and my wife.

My mother was at Avow for about a month. I would recommend it again in a heartbeat. As far as care, they were very good and the nurses were very good. They told me what to expect, how each stage was going and told me what was normal. They kept constant check on her for bed sores because she was basically in a coma, watched her medicines, her vitals and testing her. They were on top of all of that. They also have contacted me twice when she has passed to see how I'm doing, too. I think that's something that is commendable. They were very sympathetic to the family, could they do anything to the family and how are we doing. They were not only interested in how she was doing. They were interested in how we were doing. When my mother has passed and we called them early in the morning, there was a little bit of confusion between Avow and the hospital. I guess maybe they need to speak with the hospital ahead of time because there was real confusion between both. They should have a liaison with the hospital set out what the protocol is going to be when somebody passes.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

The last few weeks of my grandmother's life after her heart attack were nightmarish for all involved. Once she was brought to Avow Hospice Inc. in Naples, Florida, my entire family expected the worst, having heard all the rumors about assisted living facilities and their neglect. From the second we got there though, the workers of Avow Hospice were enthusiastic, helpful, competent, and considerate. They treated my grandmother gently, they addressed my entire family professionally and asked if we needed anything whenever they passed by. They understood our need for privacy at times and left us alone if none of us were responsive. They were very prompt when we needed their assistance, and respectful of certain family members' wishes to stay the night. The facilities were clean and decorated very warmly, making it look more like a hotel at times than an assisted living home. The decorations were bright but not gaudy, and pleasant to look at when needing a distraction. The staff were all extremely polite, friendly, and accessible. Overall, my impression of Avow Hospice Inc. at Naples, Florida was pleasant, despite the trying circumstances.
