About Foothills Vn Home Care

Facing a terminal illness can be overwhelming, VNA Northwest’s Hospice program is here to help you during this time. Our philosophy affirms life and views death as a natural process. Hospice neither hastens death nor prolongs life. Hospice is about choice. Through hospice care patients make decisions about how they will live their final days.

With patient and family involvement a team of professionals works together to individualize a plan of care. The team includes physicians, nurses, pharmacists, home health aides, therapists, nutrition counselors, social workers, clergy and volunteers. Team members address the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient and family. Members of VNA Northwest's staff are certified by the National Board for Certification of Hospice and Palliative Nurses.
