Qualicare in North San Diego County served my parents for over a year. The administrative staff was always caring and responsive. Whenever we had questions they treated us with kindness and respect. The caregivers became friends and eventually took over showering, meals, bathroom help, meds, and light shopping. We couldn't have made it without them. Though they would lose business they helped us know when it was time to move on to the next step. We were pleased with them and recommend you give them a try.

Qualicare has taken care of my mother for the last three years. I found all their employees to be dependable, kind, and respectful. From the time we started this journey, Qualicare was helpful in navigating the ins and outs of home care. I was always able to reach someone day or night and found the caregivers to be very communicative and responsive to requests. The excellent care my mother received eased my mind, and that as of my siblings. My mother was mostly confined to a wheelchair. Her caregivers took her grocery shopping and even to get manicures. They cooked for her, bathed her and dispensed meds twice daily. The caregivers really made a difference in my mother's life. She told me that she felt that they were like daughters to her. One angel even visited on ChristmasI I would definitely recommend Qualicare for their kindness and professionalism. My mother would have said the same.

My mother can be a difficult person. She cares for animals and those close to her on a daily basis, like her caregivers, but still a difficult person. I say that because Qualicare really went the extra mile to take care of Mother - and made it seem as if she was not a bother or problem at all. They are clearly trained to take on the vagaries and infirmities of older individuals. The demeanor of the primary caregiver has at all times been pleasant and helpful. Once she even noticed - and complimented mother - on her favorite painting. A painting of her son and his favorite pet, a squirrel. Mother was touched. Sometimes it is the little things that make a big difference. Those are the kindnesses that mom appreciated. But the day-to-day living is what really helped mom the most. When mom lost her mobility, her caregiver was her only way to the doctor and to other appointments. Just getting to the grocery store used to be a problem, but Qualicare made it easy. Qualicare was always on time for these appointments and could be depended upon 100% of the time. Our caregiver was just wonderful, over-the-top kind and on top of things in mom's life. The agency, Qualicare was just as good. Responsive and never more than a phone call away. I can recommend Qualicare wholeheartedly.

Qualicare helped care for my mother in Oceanside for many years. I can't say enough about the work they did. They have some amazing caregivers and a great back office staff. Staff always arrived on time, and were unfailingly polite even when faced with some of the challenges that my mother's dementia caused. As my mother's situation developed and changed over time, Qualicare was very helpful in modifying time frames, etc. Any time there was a holiday or anything of that nature, they were very proactive about reaching out as to how to handle those days. Steve and Bridgett were always available to handle any issues that came up.I was very happy with the services that Qualicare provided and would recommend them to anyone needing caregiving services.

We are grateful and value the care my dad's care companion provides. He is always on time with a smile and interacts with our dad as a close buddy - which brings smiles from dad - which a few and far between. Qualicare has been spot on in managing our dad's care by modifying hours to accomodate when essential family members helping out are not available. Qualicare provides weekly updates on invoices and balances due and answers questions quickly. They have modified the best way they can at this time to accomodate all family members get information on dads daily status.

Last year I started looking for a home care services company for my mom who was living in independent living facility but needed some extra help. While interviewing several companies I called Qualicare. The first indication this is an exceptional company was the pleasant attitude and friendliness of Bridget who answered the phone. I set up an in-person interview with Bridget and my mom. Bridget was professional and friendly and answered all of her questions and assured us they can find the right staff person to fit my mom’s needs, personality and budget. And she was right! Qualicare had the perfect person who not only met on my mom’s needs for companionship and help, but was also a really nice person who really cared about her work in taking care of my mom. In addition to great staff, Qualicare’s office support is beyond exceptional. They personally answer the phone 24/7! Many times I called them on the weekends and evenings with an urgent request for last-minute help. Knowing that their staff was dedicated to helping my mom, gave me peace of mind. Since I live over 200 miles away, I knew I could trust Qualicare and staff to not only take care of my mom, but call me with updates about how she was doing and any questions they had about how they could better support her needs. Finally, their pricing structure is extremely competitive and a great value for the superior service they provide. I wholeheartedly and unequivocally recommend Qualicare for their exceptional service, dedicated staff and competitive pricing.

I can't say enough great things about Steve the owner of Qualicare Oceanside . He went above and beyond to try to help find the right solutions for my mother's care . She ultimately needed to be admitted to UCSD Beavorial for a pysch assessment (she has dementia ) for med management . He gave me all the pros and cons to make the right decision for my mother and referred me to Cathy E. would could facilitate a memory care facility for my Mom in OC . I originally was going to keep her home in Oceanside but it's not in her best interest to be at home with her energy level . I would choose Qualicare if I did need in home care because Steve seriously cares about helping you with your loved one .

My 85-year-old widowed mother fell one day and broke both of her wrists. My wife and I rushed down from the San Francisco area, not sure what to do. Fortunately, we were introduced to Qualicare and within two days we had a wonderful caregiver in place. I should note that this happened just days after California went into lockdown due to the coronavirus and everything was crazy. Despite this, Qualicare came through for my mother. They were thorough and professional and their caregiver was kind, competent, and reliable. My mother has made a full recovery and my whole family is deeply grateful to the Qualicare team for the wonderful support they provided.

Qualicare did a fabulous job helping my 89 year old father recover from a broken hip. From the owner Steve down to the care coordinators Bridgett and Amanda and the caregivers themselves, the whole team showed compassion, responsiveness, and understanding. They mobilized quickly to set up my father with two excellent caregivers to come into his home to assist with a wide range of daily activities. They helped him through a stressful transition from the skilled nursing unit to home, and supported him throughout his recovery.

We have been with Qualicare for the last four weeks. We are satisfied with them. I would give them one of the highest ratings. They have been very responsive. We have been satisfied with every caretaker they provided. We only had a couple of experiences where they hadn't showed up when they were scheduled. One of those days happened to be this morning. All in all, they have been reliable. We haven't even thought of looking for somebody else because they have satisfied our needs up until now. We are having in-home care for 12 hours out of the day. My father-in-law requires constant watching, some assistance going to the bathroom, bed linen needs to be washed on a daily basis, and they have been doing a little bit of light housekeeping and doing some dishes. They have been very helpful. It is hard to imagine doing it without them.

Qualicare did companion care for my mother-in-law. I just didn't feel they were very qualified for dementia patients. They could probably have more training for their staff members. They were pretty much on the ball though when it came to scheduling.
