Bonnie, who I think was an office manager. talked to Barbara, the caregiver, and told her she wasn't supposed to be doing what she was doing, because I share the bathroom and kitchen with my dad. It made my dad uncomfortable that Barbara just had to sit there.

Joan just started hospice, and so it's different now than it has been. Right now, I think the companionship as she is being taken care of throughout the day by the caregivers has really helped her. There are several different things on why I like Assistance in Home Care. The communication between the office and the caregivers is excellent, the communication between the office and me is excellent, and when there are areas of concerns, they are proactive on taking care of it.

I didn't have a caregiver show up because they were celebrating a holiday I didn't know about. They gave me a holiday list, and it was a quick fix, but it was stressful when it happened.
