Does the supplement Poly-MVA show any good results?

Expert Answer

Jennifer Serafin, N.P. is a registered nurse and geriatric nurse practitioner at the Jewish Homes for the Aged in San Francisco.

Poly MVA is a supplement made up of minerals, vitamins, and fatty acids.  As far as I know, there have been no research studies that show Poly MVA as a beneficial cancer treatment.  That being said, I also believe there is no real harm in taking it either, as it is just vitamins.  If you think you would like to try it, go ahead.  Just don't use it as a substitution for other cancer treatments that your oncologist would recommend.

One last point- keep in mind that most of the "success stories" I have seen about it are actually advertisers looking to get people to buy it.
