There is no set time period for taking Flomax. This medication is intended as long-term therapy, and an individual can safely take it for years.
Side effects are an area
of concern with any medication. If you experience headaches, dizziness, back pain, chest pain, abnormal ejaculation, sleepiness, insomnia or blurred vision while taking Flomax, call your doctor immediately. Flomax may have adverse reactions with some other medications, so be sure that your doctor and pharmacist are aware of any other drugs you are on before you start taking Flomax.
