my is a 84 women who has vascular dementia and had a bypass on her leg, due to this operation she had a stoke. She gives a hard time to eat she is never hungry.

My father always says he isn't hungry, but when we ask him to join us for a "coke", he ends up eating a healthy meal. We find he doesn't know what that means, so when the food comes he eats.
My mother in law is always saying she is NOT hungry, but is constantly found in the kitchen sneaking what she thinks is food. She has tried to eat my kitchen sponge, the detergent packs for the dishwasher and the leftovers that should go to our compost pile. Then she denies it.
