Can you walk if your hip is broken?

My mother is in severe pain laying down even walking even as far as dressing herself is it possible that her hip is broke?

Is the pain disturbing her sleep and comes back often? You must have her checked. Aside from broken hip, it is also possible that she is suffering from arthritis. My father underwent hip surgery through the help of Placidway because of extreme pain caused by arthritis. He is 72, how about your mom?
