The tour at Best Care Senior Living at Winter Haven was great. The community is nice. They have a lot of things for the residents to do. The rooms are nice and roomy. It's just not a good fit for my father because he needs more nursing care. They had a two-bedroom apartment. It's two rooms separated by a living room that's shared and a shared bathroom. They also have private rooms. They have an outdoor patio that is locked, where you can sit out and have a barbecue. They have a huge game room with games and books. They have the menus for the meals printed in the hallway. They have nice replacements if you don't want to eat something on the menu. The activities director was very nice.

I was very impressed with Best Care Senior Living at Winter Haven for assisted living, but they said my brother couldn't do assisted living. It was very good. Their people were out doing things and involved in things. The best thing about it was, for a semi-private room, they had private bedrooms. Then the two people just shared a common area where they go out and they share a bathroom, but they could shut the door of their bedroom. I was very impressed. It was clean. It's an old place, but it had been very updated, and everything was just really nice. I wouldn't mind going there. The staff were wonderful. They showed me everything. It's two floors and they had an elevator to take people up and down. It was nice. They had some people playing bingo and they had different crafts for them to do. The one thing that was negative for my brother was that they would not let him have his motorized scooter. They had a little library area and they had places for the people to go outside.

My sister and I visited best care for my dad, along with 3 other Facilities. Best care had the nicest building, the best prices, and the nicest staff. My dad has been living here for 3 months now and he loves it. Would definitely recommend!

My tour at Best Care Senior Living at Winter Haven was excellent. It's an excellent facility and excellent staff. I like the staff, the location, and the cleanness of the place. I was extremely impressed. The staff who gave me the tour was absolutely 100% excellent. Above and beyond. She was very thorough. Everything from inside the facility to outside the facility, everything was thoroughly explained. They have very nice rooms and very ample and plenty of space for the elderly. The surroundings are terrific, very safe, and very secure. I cannot say enough about it. Everything from the staff to everything I saw in the facility, I was extremely impressed. The dining area was very, very nice. It's a very ample area, dining-wise. Everything was explained to me about the menu and the alternative menus and options for the patients there. The staff explained to me the calendar of activities for the month. I even received a calendar myself. She explained the activities like bingo, all the areas that they play in, and the theater that they have for them to see movies. I was extremely impressed with all the activities they do. The staff is a great activities director. She has great ideas, and I think for the elderly and their condition, those activities are very good. From puzzles to games to coloring to bingo (which happened to be when I was there) and to the movie theater. I was always like, 'This is a beautiful place.' Beautiful and nice, too. Very nicely staffed. Very friendly, and cozy, and has a little warmer atmosphere for the elderly that reside there. It's a well-kept and very clean facility. The director of activities is an extremely thorough and marvelous person.

Best Care Senior Living at Winter Haven was a large place. It was clean, but it wasn't fancy in any way. When we first walked in, I thought it was a little gloomy-looking. But they had an activities corner, and the staff showed us a room that they called a theater, where they did movies and things like that. What I liked about the place was that the director said she really enjoyed her job there. She was a really nice person. You could tell that she liked her job. She had been working there for many years, and she said that the staff there worked very well together, so to me, that was a lot. Each person gets their own room, and it's a little suite-like, so there's another room next to it. And then the two of them can share a table where they can eat, or they can go to the cafeteria, where they have a larger place to eat. We thought it was nice that each person had their own room. They share a bathroom. They had activities posted on the board.
