I was a patient at this facility. The room are very small. There was no seating for any visitors within the rooms. The food trays were brought out whenever they felt like it and whatever they serve you is all you were gonna get like it or not there was no extra food or snacks kept in the nursing station I was a patient there for more than a week I never once saw a doctor I never once saw a social worker. The only person I saw was an RN, or a nurses aide. We were kept in bed 24 seven. And lucky for my roommate I don’t sleep much and twice I witnessed her fall from her bed one night she was hanging from the rail on her bed the following night she made it out of the bed and was attempting to get into the wheelchair next to her bed, the button in the room that we push does not go to the nurses station it goes to the nurses aide in my opinion, this facility should be closed down Before something else happens, God forbid there’s a death of someone’s loved one

They are underpaid and understaffed therefore you shouldn't expect to get prompt, or even any, service. When I arrived at the facility with my husband there were dirty linens on the dresser and the room was not ready. The staff did their best. I have no idea what activities the residents enjoyed. From what I could see they were wheeled out in their wheelchairs and left in the hallway.

Victoria Care Center is the same as the other community. The staff is good, but the place is crowded. The rooms are good basic rooms; the beddings is good. Everything suffices. In fact, they give the residents air-mattresses to go on top of the existing mattresses that they have. They're very clean too. The staff members conduct themselves in a professional manner. The patient is always first. They're aware of any changes.

My mother was for 3 weeks at this center an had a really bad experience. One night the staff took her water away so she would not drink so much water and therefore not call so much to be changed because they would even not take her to the bathroom. So spent the night being thirsty. Then the last night she was there, because I brought her home, they wouldn't change her even thought she told them that the whole bed was wet and she was cold, they just answer "it is not time yet" To me this was a neglect on their part and no one should be treated that way.

I would not say anything bad about Victoria Care Center, but it was not great either. My mom's room was really small, and it was hard to move around. I like the doctors. I think they make their rounds very good. They communicate very well, and they try to get a hold of you. Some of the staff were very caring. I think in any care facility, I am discovering that if the elderly do not have an advocate for them, it is difficult for the staff to follow through unless they know they have a family member who's going to speak on the elderly's behalf. Even though we press the nursing button, the response time was sometimes too long. I also experienced that they do not read the notes or the comments. I do not think they refer to it as often as they should because when I reminded them, they will say they have not read the notes yet. We would write notes about what my mom was allergic to, and repeatedly, the she would get those things.

Everything about Victoria Care Center was very good. The staff was good. The office personnel were good. The nurses were good. The physical therapy was good. I don't have any complaint. Everything was fine. The room was good. The dining area was fine.
