My dad had parkinson's, he was ignored ,never cleaned many falls. He's was there for 6 years. We were there all the time. He couldn't feed himself towards the end they didn't feed him. He stopped eating the Last fall he had was the end if him horrible gash on his head wasn't treated. I hated this place!!! Terrible!!!

My mother is in Loretto Health and Rehabilitation Center. It's clean. They contact me with any problems with my mom. The staff is very polite and they pretty much go above and beyond to make sure my mom's doing good. I haven't tried the food, but the rooms are clean. They come in and clean the room all the time and they change the beds and make sure their beds aren't wet. My mom's in a one-bedroom. She likes the physical therapy. They help her out once a day. They're polite, too.

Be an advocate for your loved one they say. Try it here and they cut you off and put a note in the file to not deal with you. They refuse to listen to you when you try to tell them what is normal for this person and they do what they want (and they are wrong!). Rehab!? They leave him in bed most of the time. He asked to be put in the chair for a bit. Nurse Mary tells him “I don’t doesn’t how how to do that” when he asks her for something. He asked to get put on the toilet and they said “just go and somebody will clean it up later”. Disgusting place.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIFIC! Rooms are extremely basic and sad. Staff is rude, uncaring and disrespectful of residents. My friend waited over 4 hrs to be taken to the bathroom despite my asking 3 to 4 staff to assist her only to be told just wait. There is no concern or CONSIDERATION given to residents. They are left in a dark area with TV on for several hours with no one even going to check if they are all ok. Residents are not provided water or snacks at all. The hallways are cluttered and unsafe for residents to move through. Did not see any cleaning or disinfecting any day I was there. The facility is overcrowded and understaffed and no one is getting any personalized care because they outsource for staff who have no idea of any residents needs or concerns. There is no recreation and residents are basically trapped on the floor they reside. No follow up with family members at all. Please do not place a loved one here because everyone deserves better than Loretto can provide. I felt so sad and sorry to see people left there and basically ignored and forgotten. Again Please do more than place ANYONE AT LORETTO I would give negative stars because they just don't care and it is heartbreaking

This is a horrible place for post surgery rehab. My sister was sent there after 44 day hospital stay for emergency surgery. They basically ignored her. She has colostomy. On more than one occasion, her bag leaked. She sat in feces for hours. On her 5th day, she was sent back to hospital. Extremely dehydrated, very low blood pressure, nearly unresponsive. She was re-admitted to hospital with kidney damage. Besides the shoddy care, they never contacted me, her emergency contact to inform me if situation. The hospital Had to call. They also did not forward info to us about a scheduled appointment with surgeon. Thank God we contacted him directly. This is a dangerous, horrible facility. DO NOT SEND A LOVED ONE THERE.

Dirty facility with rude staff. My mother was at Loretto for rehab and I will never consider this facility ever again. The staff do not seem to care about the clients well being. You’ll be left in a wheelchair for hours, you have to fight to get your medication and you are left on your own to toilet yourself unless you are willing to wait over an hour to use the bathroom.

This facility deserves a 0. The food is terrible, but the complete disregard for care and compassion are worse. They don't answer call bells in a timely fashion... you could be waiting an hour or more. They leave people in soiled depends and or beds, and when they aren't left soiled they are left in the bathroom with no help off the toilet for over an hour. They do not turn or reposition residents to prevent bed sores. The way the CNAs talk to people is completely disrespect and degrading. Also good luck trying to call anyone at the facility, they dont answer or return phone calls. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! The conditions are deplorable all around.

Worst rating the food -10, who eats cheesy grits or plain oatmeal the consistancy of glue for breakfast? The only other choice is cereal. Any toast will come hard cold burnt and inedible and fried eggs are never served only scrambled or hard boiled. They also like to serve collared greens, brussel sprouts or other nasty tasting veggies. A few days a week you can look forward to turkey or roast beef with gravy but you never get whats supposed to happen the accompanying mashed potatoes magically turn into beans or some other stupid combination. If you dont like whats offered they have 2 types of sandwiches to offer they come dry no mustard, mayo etc.. They also have yogurt, apparently only vanilla or strawberry and whatever you ask for youll get the other. The same with ice cream. On meals first they bring the trays up from a lower floor. If your on a high floor itll be served last, they feed people who walk to the cafeteria first then deliver to rooms so any and all meals ill arrive cold. If you got the wrong meal tough they leave the cafeteria as soon as the last trays go out. Most likely they will arrive for vitals, stats, etc right when your late meals is delivered. Youll ask to have it heated in the mmicrowave but as soon as it comes people will come for other reasons. You could almost starve to death. Going to the bathroom is the same you go in and knock knock knock. I guess a closed door means interupt me? You quickly learn which workers are there for the love of helping and which are there for the good pay and sign on bonuses. The only bright spot I can say is the therapists they are a bright spot in the day cant say that about transport though. They will just leave you at the elevators

I'm a current resident at Fahey. The staff isn't caring at all, they aren't giving me the right amount of amount of medicine, When you ask them if they could give you your medicine at a certain time they never follow through with it, when you press the nurse call button they take a long time to respond to you, if you tell the staff no on something they try to push and pressure you into something. For example, It's normal for me not to not have a bowel movement for a while. Just yesterday one of the staff told me I would have to take the medicine if I didn't go. The medicine they give you hurts my stomach really and I've told her time after time after time about it. She doesn't listen. Nobody does here.

I have not meet anyone In the world that are more caring and passionate about their jobs like a nurse by the name of Sheila and an RN by the name of josh. They are so compassionate about what they do and treat those patients with the upmost respect and really go out of their way to make them feel very special and taken care of. I’ve witnessed on many occasions how they go out of their way to make sure an issue is resolved and a patient is happy and they take so much pride in what they do it’s amazing. I wish every nursing home had staff like them!

DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE! My mother has been here since May 3,2019 for rehabilitation. She has fallen 24 times ! They do not suction her the every 4 hours as they should. They do not check for placement or check for residual in her tube feeding see receives 3 times a day. I have came for pop up visits her bed was soiled in stool and urine from the morning it was three separate areas of stains . Reporting to nurse manger no reply . Nurse assisted director and director of nursing no reply . Administration and ceo no resolutions. Reported to state . My mother was threatened it’s going to be harder because I’m complaining if she doesn’t like her treatment leave . She is in rehabilitation they don’t walk her like they are supposed on the floor her hand is now contracting because they didn’t work with it on the floor . Don’t do it I would remove her if I could

We had seen the mixed reviews but was told by a friend that if you have someone to advocate for my friend that it is not a bad place. Well let me tell you. No one clued the staff that was caring for my friend about her physical limitations. She had to wait 45 minutes to 2 hrs. to go to the bathroom because she was unable to go on her own. This was not because the lone and aides were ignoring her but because they are so understaffed. She asked to see a nurse practitioner for two days and never saw anyone until I made a call to the head nurse. It took me 3 tries to get a hold of anyone and then when I did talk to the head nurse she put me on hold for 15 minutes. I hung up and called back and no one answered. Then she saw the physician, physician assistant, and the registered nurse. But when the registered nurse saw her she was very short with my friend. Then the nurse reamed out the understaffed lone and aides. We found out at her review that she was not being given the medicine that she needed. Don't send your loved ones there. Find a credible facility that cares about your loved one.

My mother is currently at the Fahey Rehab and has been there just over a week. It has been gone from bad to worse. Her bathroom is unheated. She uses her nurse call and waits anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours for assistance. The staff complains that they are understaffed. The food is inedible when she gets food. Most nights she does not get what was ordered. The excuse was "we ran out of that". Last night they served her a hot dog and small serving of peaches for dinner and that is all. That is not a dinner serving for an adult. The food is substandard. It is usually served late and cold. I have brought her food many nights due to her not being served anything edible. Now lets talk about the security. I should say what security. If you try to talk to anybody about any issue no one will take responsibility. You can not talk to anyone in authority, You call there and no one answers any phone calls, If you leave a message, no one calls you back. Stay far from this place, it is a disaster. I am sorry my mother was ever sent here. I hope she gets out of here soo.

My sister is in Loretto and hates it! She is left sitting in her wheel chair from 8 AM until after 5 PM! Her call button doesn't work, so they gave her a little dinner bell. They ignore that too! The people who are taken down for meals have to wait on hour or more to be taken back to their rooms after they are finished eating. Yesterday, I witnessed a woman being screamed at by one of the workers for going to bingo! I suppose the physical therapy people are good at what they do, hence the one star, but I hope I never, ever have to go there!!!! My advice, go ANYWHERE else!

My mother was sent to Loretto Fahey for rehab after a knee replacement. The facility is disgustingly dirty, the staff overworked, and they denied her HEART medication because the meds were locked up and no one was available to get them. On her 2nd night, her call button was ignored again, so when she went to the nurses station she was met by a woman who was looking for her father. He wasn't in his room, the bathroom, and there were no staff on the floor. The man was eventually found sleeping in a chair in a lounge. Tonight she called me in tears begging me to get her out of there.

My mother was at Cunningham. She received a lot of loving attention and good medical care. She liked the food. Her room was clean, and she enjoyed the activities. She was very happy there.

My mom is in Loreto rehabilitation and I can not wait for her to leave that place their rooms are unacceptable the staff is friendly The Food sucks and I will not feed it to a dog. The bathroom in my mother room keep flooding they need to change the food menu and do extensive repairs to their building it's time for upgrades.

My dad has moved into Loretto nursing home. He's been there now for about two months. It's adequate. It's a very large facility, and there's not a lot of individualized care, which happens when there are large facilities involved. The rooms are very basic.

My mom was in Loretto, and we chose it because they had a bed available at the time that we needed it. The staff was very good. Mom was on the 13th floor, and I thought that was a special unit for private pay, and they were very good. The room was kept clean. The bed was made as soon as the person got up and left. Their food was acceptable. I would eat it without hesitation.

Just visited a friend at the Auburn facility. Dirty, dirty, dirty. Rooms shabby. Old tube TV's taking up the entire top of the dresser. Medications improperly administered. Place smelled like urine. Entranceway smelled like cigarette smoke. Meal times inconsistent. No way I would put a loved one here.

Mom is at Loretto Health and Rehab Center. I really didn’t have a choice for her to be there, but the facility is OK. Mom was over there for a year's time, and I did complain a lot. They lost my mother's hearing aid, her clothes were taken from the laundry area, and she wasn’t getting the care that way I felt she should get cared, but slowly I kept reminding them; they did not address everything, but I think they are paying more attention to her.

I was in Loretto Nursing Home for eight months. The staff was good. Their rooms were exellent and spacious. They had a good setup of activities there. The only problem we had was the bill. My family always asked them about my insurance. They would just answer that everything was taken care of. Then all of a sudden my bill was $38,000. Now, I am just tickled pink I am out of there.

Overall, the facility was excellent. The entranceway was welcoming and well-kept, with friendly staff waiting to help guide you through the facility. The lobby was well-decorated and didn't feel like a hospital; it felt more like a hotel. The nurse who was with us was also the nurse who was caring for my great-grandmother, and she was pleasant and friendly. There were a few staff members that seemed to be less pleasant, but we did not have a direct experience with them. The rooms were simply furnished and were a little dull. There wasn't a lot of room for personal belongings. However, they did feel nicer than something like a hospital room. Out of curiosity, we tried some of the food and found it to be surprisingly good. We looked into some of the services and facilities provided and found that were plenty of additional amenities for those able to take advantage of them, such as an entertainment room with various activities, and a swimming pool. The only major negative of the facility is that the care staff seemed to have a slow response time, though that could have been due to understaffing.
