I visited this facility
My mother stayed at this facility Nov 2014 and they did not take care of her nor did they watch her fluid or food intake before giving her pain med. The worse part is they continued to give her laxatives through the day along with morphine. She become non responsive and dehydrated where she was admitted to the hospital. Once there they discovered she also had a UTI that went untreated.... Maybe a nice facility but I wouldn't send my worse enemy there to stay!!
We deeply regret that we were unable to meet all of your expectations. We want to thank you for your feedback and please know it will be reviewed and used to better serve our residents and their families in the future.

I visited this facility
Today we visited our father at the nursing care facility. It was a devastating experience. Our 83 year old father had been here after a broken hip surgery. His condition both mentally and physically has declined. He has become skin and bones. Upon exiting the elevator on the second floor the smell of poop was breath taking. Upon entering his room we realized that he had been lying in his own waste long enough for it to be dried on his legs all the way to his feet. We got a nurse and ask her to please change him. About thirty minutes later he was changed and his bed stripped. We took him took him for a thirty minute wheelchair ride to give them time and space to clean. I looked down and saw the caked on dried poop and addressed it with a nurse whom had just helped to change him thirty minutes prior. In a very sweet manor she replied "oh I'm sorry, I didn't notice that" - seriously... 30 more minutes more passed and his bed was still stripped and there was clumps of dried poop on the floor as well as dirty tissue and the changing gloves and wipe tossed behind the door instead of being placed in a trash can. The room was dirty everywhere. This was such a bad experience that when my husband and I finally left we both reached the car and burst into tears. At first when we ask Dad how the place was and he exclaimed "I HATE THIS PLACE" we thought he was just being difficult. We now realize, this place is awful and we are so afraid for him. Please note the staff was very kind to us but obviously under staffed and at the expense of the patients.
