We chose Sequoyah Pointe Living Center for my sister because she will be 10 minutes away from my job. The proximity of it is great. It's nice and cozy when you walk in and it smells good. It doesn't reek of urine. The room's got a TV in it, a bed, a couple of wall closets in there, and a window. It looks pretty nice. The person who assisted me was very nice. She seemed pretty positive that I would be able to get my sister in there.

My mother was a resident for a few months. She originally decided to live there long term and then within two months of signing paperwork she decided to leave. The employees there seem to have absolutely no concern for patients. We have even had encounters of employees mocking us when trying to get the financial aspects straightened out. The majority of the staff are rude and suspiciously out of sight most of the time. Don't ever let them become payee of your social security! IF you leave there, you will be fighting them for the funds as they will continue to contact SS for the payments, and deny it all!

My dad stayed here for 10 days. The staff are very slow to respond. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. On his last day, he was left in urine and feces for God only knows how long. He was served cold food and told that the best way to receive warm food was if he went to the dining room which was extremely challenging with his severe spinal pain from cancer. Just didn’t seem like a genuinely compassionate facility.

After having a horrible experience at another facility in Owasso we came to Sequoyah Pointe. I was very impressed. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The facility was clean, there wasn’t a “nursing home” smell. They took care of not only the patient but the family. We ended with hospice and the passing of a loved one and they cared for her and us every step of the way

It is good here the staff is very nice and the facility is good and clean no oder.I'm not here is to stay just here for a while.I have a broken hand.

This place is horrible!! Would leave my mother on the bed stool for 30–45 minutes she had awful sores and bruises from it. They never answered the call button, my mom would have to call me and I would call the front desk to get what she needed. We turned them in for neglect but nothing was done about it.

Sequoyah Pointe Living Center is clean, and bright, and cheerful. While it was originally conceived as a "Nursing Home", the primary focus now seems to be on rehab. The staff is oriented toward the goal of "rehab" for each resident, and they work daily with each resident on (minimally) keeping and (hopefully) enhancing skills for self-reliance. This was evidenced in my Mother, who entered as a stroke victim, and within three months was able to walk and self-feed again. The facility feels open and airy, due to the large corridors that lead off of a central atrium where the main staff desk is located. This central hub area also functions as a living room for the residents, and there are tables and chairs for playing cards, as well as many sofas and chairs for conversation. The big-screen TV is in a separate room, so that those who wish to watch TV can do so without interrupting the others. Resident rooms are a bit small for two per room, however, the residents typically don't spend much time in their rooms. Staff encourages everyone to "hang out" in the main living area, rather than sitting alone in their rooms. Some residents do have a private room, and with the second bed removed, this makes for a nice, large space. Two built-in closets and two sets of built-in drawers on either side of a sink with a mirror and overhead vanity lighting are standard in each room. Rooms are typically equipped with two single "hospital" style beds, two small side tables, and two rolling over-the-bed trays. While no one ever wants to place a family member into such a facility, I can recommend Sequoyah Pointe Living Center.
