I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Placed a family member there and she was seriously injured on the first day. That was two years ago and the impact is still being felt. Avoid!

My wife was at CareOne King James, and it was OK. The place was relatively new, clean, and easily accessible (maybe a little too easy). The food was also OK. She was there for about 36 hours only. I found her walking around the halls when I got there the next morning, and they had not given her medication. I wasn't really satisfied, so I took her home because the care wasn't as precise or as diligent as I would have expected it to be. They told me they're shorthanded, and they don't have the ability to monitor residents one on one.

This place needs a good house keeping manager because it looks unsanitary,walls durty, bathrooms with durty linen and sitting areas very durty. Nurses doing a wound care on a roommate table , what about spread of germs?

I am a friend or relative of a resident
He was moved to King James. This place is nice and good. They have activities. It was bright and cheerful. There were always people around and he was never left alone. He was fed properly and it was great. This place is very good. He was only there for two and a half weeks, but he bounced back, and he was doing well. He was hydrated again and talking. He was cheerful and watching TV. He was happy, and he was able to eat by himself. At the other place, he was withdrawn and just in a shell. King James is very good. It is clean, cheerful, and bright. There is always something for people to do. Even if the people can't do anything, there are people talking to them and helping them eat. It is nice, very good, and well run.
