The staff spends their time at the desk laughing and talking loudly. They do NOT answer the call lights of the patients. My dad had to wait four hours for a call light to be answered. So being an amputee, he tried to get himself from his wheelchair to his bed. Of course he didn’t have the strength to do it and slid to the floor. Still no one answered his call light so he called me and I tried to call Treviso for over 30 minutes before someone finally answered. They then sent someone to help him. Today He was left at the dialysis center for three hours after his appointment was over before they picked him up. Do not even think of calling this place because they do not answer the phone, nor do they have another way to contact them. He has only been there a few days, and we have had this many problems. I would not recommend this place at all.

Some of the staff is caring but the general impression is they care more about getting paid than anything else. Always felt like asking for anything there was at best an inconvenience, at worse an annoyance. The facility itself looks nice so you walk in with an initial favorable impression. However this does not last very long.

DO NOT put your loved one in this facility. Business Manager does nothing but lie. My mother fell & died in this facility. Very few employees actually care. Understaffed and overworked. Anywhere else is better than this nasty place.

Overall the building is newer than most in the area and has the potential to be an excellent facility. However, physical appearance can be deceiving. Be thankful that some of the staff truly cares about the residents and their well being. But, many are overwhelmed and overworked and management lacks compassion. I personally overheard the DON refer to a patient as “crazy.” As well as witnessing residents call Lights go unanswered for hours. Residents sitting in soiled clothing for hours and being ignored or their valid complaints referred to as “behavioral!” Is unacceptable. Wheelchairs are not safe with at least one brake broken. This is a huge safety issue. For the safety and sanity of the residents and truly compassionate employees left in that facility, I hope that my concerns are heard and addressed. The activities director, nurse practitioner and therapy department are a great asset to the facility. As well as many of the floor nurses and CNAs. However, management needs a lot of training; especially in being kind to residents and employees. I’m saddened to see complaints are minimized or ignored in general.

I went to pick up my aunt to bring her home. She told me the place was bad, but I just thought she was ready to be home. When I first got there everyone was really nice. Unfortunately that’s as far as it goes. When I got my aunt home she smelled terrible like she hadn’t had a bath in days. My aunt can’t bath herself she needed help. Her hair was nappy and matted to her head it had not been combed in days. I had to make her go to the bathroom because she had been accustom to holding it for hours. It was so bad she was skipping meds because they made her pee. When she had to go she was told to pee and poop in her diaper. As a result she we had to give her medication to poop because she had to hold it for days. The worst was her feet she’s a diabetic so her feet need to be taken care of. She had 3 ingrown nails because no one would cut them. Her skin was dry and cracked all over because no one would put lotion on her. This facility is a joke I’m trying to figure out how they are still in business.

I visited this facility

This facility doesn't turn patients or change wet clothes until the resident calls a family member to come help. Police has been called on them bc they were not taking care of the residents. They don't pass out the meds.

My stepfather had diabetes, and the food was not appropriate for him. He also found it unappetizing. Some of the staff members were excellent, such as the receptionist and the head nurse. The patient representative was also very helpful. Other staff members did a poor job. My mother had to prompt them to do their assigned duties. Some of them complained about their work or gave excuses. When my stepfather was admitted, they mistakenly put him in isolation even though he had been vaccinated for COVID-19. He did not receive his prescribed treatment or some of the equipment ordered by the doctor. The facilities were clean, attractive and comfortable.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. My MIL was there and I fought every day for the things they weren’t doing She was there about 4 weeks. No one should be treated the way she was. I knew she was scared and wanted out. She can’t stand at all and they scream at her at her because she couldn’t stand. I made sure the nurse knew that she couldn’t stand didn’t matter. In a month she had 2 showers every time they screamed and yanked on her. She would push the help button if they showed up it would be 3 to 6 hours sometimes not all She got a bed sore. We moved her and when I went to get all herself. Almost all of her clothes they were gone. New gowns and new capris they would all taken. I called Socical Worker and Administrator they told me they were looking never found. Got back only 1 shirt and 2 gowns and pant that don’t fit her. They did things to her that show never be done by an aid. The nurse should do and only little If doctor order for a digital Check. Some of the stuff they did she didn’t tell me until she moved. She is very happy and content. This place should be shutdown please don’t put anyone you love in there.

My grandfather stayed at Treviso for a very short time , I was spoken so rudely to by the head nurse , she walks around in a white lab coat I guess to make it appear as if she is dr or something . She tries to intimidate me and my sisters but we are got fooled by her . We reported her behavior to the board of nursing. Their is no wonder the rest of the nursing staff have attitudes if this is their “ leader “ I did not allow my family to be treated the way they were we got out of this facility as fast as we could

My mother was in this facility for a week. We visited everyday and met many awesome caring people. She lost her life due to a stroke while there. They could not have been more professional and accommodating during this difficult time. Many thanks to Sharonda the head nurse that help the transition go smoothly. Precious Chelsea and Courtney were so good to my mother. Many more that I cannot remember the names. A couple of condemns arose and I met with Sharonda and personnel that corrected our concerns. I would definitely recommend Treviso. Thank you all so very much.

This home is very deceiving looks good at first but doesn’t take long for you to see the truth. The nurses sit around and don’t answer call lights , meds not given , excuses made by everyone. The DON or ADON are very unprofessional, rude and act like they just want us out of the building . I am surprised that the owners of this building allow this type of behavior . Maybe they are unaware of what if is really going on here . We love the therapist and are pleased with the progress my family member is making and are trying to remain at Treviso because of this but it is extremely hard to deal with the attitudes from other staff

My mom is a resident of Treviso at this time . I have spoken with Sharondra regarding many nursing issues but only told she will handle it . My mom was so fearful of one of the nurses that she spoke with the social worker and 2 others at facility but you want to know how it was handled ? The DON brought the nurse my mom was afraid of into her room along with herself and spoke to my mom alone . I find this completely wrong ....this was a way of intimidating her and this will be reported to state .

My mother has been a resident for about 8 months. The nursing staff is okay however the Business Office and Management is less than poor. No return calls, no response to complaints, no signs of life. We had to get Corporate involved on a billing issue and they immediately got us in touch with the right person. Had Carrie told us this information, we would not be out of pocket for 8 months of care nor would we have lost Medicaid eligibility due to her negligence.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I was sitting with my girlfriend's mom from 10:25am until 7pm and not a single aide ever came in to check on her. And overnight, the aides do not take her to the bathroom. They throw a brief on her and tell her to pee on herself. She is continent and can go to the bathroom but needs assistance because she cant bare weight on her left leg. I would not put my family here. The administrator was made aware and did nothing.

My 83 year old mother in law went to Treviso after a hip replacement. Dana Hoefstetler made the admitting process trouble free and greeted mom as a friend. The nurses eased her fears and took care of her for four weeks with kindness, respect, and understanding. The rehabilitation team worked daily helping her to regain her strength and have the confidence to resume her life . I visited her every day that she was there. I was very impressed by everyone involved in her care. Now she is back home. She is more active than she has been in years. She talkes about the time that her "friends" at Treviso took wonderful care of her ! If I ever had a need for this type of transitional care I would go there .

Treviso failed to give my mother the medication her surgeon ordered for two days prior to her death at this facility. We discovered this after obtaining her records (not an easy task here). She was there less than a week. They are poorly staffed, and the staff they do have is poorly trained. They failed to recognize my mother’s distress and clear symptoms shortly before she died and left her to die alone. I will forever regret sending her there. Please don’t put anyone you love in this place.

I visited this facility

I visited a dear friend in this god forsaken place and I have never been around as many rude and uncaring nurses and nurse’s aides in my life. It is a sham operation and they do not take care of their patients. Shame on the management for letting this happen to the patients,

My Father was a resident in the rehabilitation wing for approximately 2 months. The lovely furnishings of this facility belie an underlying air of neglect, incompetence and indifference. The staff, management, nurses, doctors (who we never saw) all promise they will do better - to no avail. Many of our complaints and requests for assistance were completely ignored. Be prepared for your loved one (or you) to wait in excess of 20-25 minutes for call lights to be answered. The RN's stay seated feigning deafness while call lights are screaming. The facility failed on all premises . . . my Father was no better when he left than when he arrived. Please research your facilities. Read reviews. Check with everyone you know before entrusting your loved one to Treviso for care, whether short term or long. This place is a travesty.

The facility is lovely and we excitedly placed our mother in Traviso - after she was released from a hospital stay that left her with a wound needing daily attention for proper healing to occur.. within a week, the wound was so infected that mother had to go to the ER. The wound required a vac to drain the infection. The machine beeped if detached. My sister and I took turns staying night with her because the staff did not seem to care if the machine was on, beeped or malfunctioned. We found the manual for the machine and got to be experts at taking care of the situation. Mother was neglected in other ways too. She was left on the commode and after painfully getting back in her wheelchair, rolled into the hall whispering, "help, help." Her pants were down and since she has lost most of the use of her arms and legs, this was a heroic attempt to get help. I walked in the facility as this was occurring. I found someone to help my mother. The staff member showered my mother and because of the vac on my mother's arm could not remove her clothing but had to leave it hanging from the vac cord. A nurse would be required to detach the cord and remove the clothing. The aid said a nurse would be there shortly. We waited and waited and finally I went to find a nurse. At the nursing station, the personnel were standing around passing a bag of M&Ms around. I asked for help and a nurse came to remove the clothing from the vac tube. After she removed the clothes and reconnected the tubing. She left. Thankfully I was there because she reconnected the tubing but did not turn the machine back on. I am serious when I tell you that your loved one might not survive at Treviso m. Mother was there for one month and the decline was significant. By the way, this scenario is one of MANY. I could write more but you get the idea. Don't be fooled by the beautiful facility or the great food.,proper care is not delivered to the residents. Period.

I debated on writing a review after the first incident but after it continued and I checked myself out of Treviso I thought it appropriate to let the public know of my experience. I had both knees replaced in Tyler on Wed. Dec 7th. On Saturday Dec 10 I was released from hospital and was transferred to Trevino in Longview by Treviso transportation. After arriving and getting the formalities taken care of I was asked for the medication I had. I have no medication except for my maintenance drugs from home. We were then told that my wife would have to go to the drug store and get me my pain meds. We were told being the weekend it would be Monday before they could get any meds. We paid out over $170.00 for this. I did raise cane about this to no avail. Sunday morning the Dr made his rounds and asked if there was anything I would like to ask him about. I started asking him about the patient having to furnish their own meds at which point he said he had other patients he had to see. I told him "get your butt out of this room and do not come back, go see your patients". I was told by the Tyler doctor to not wait until I had to have a pain pill but get one before I needed it. Sunday night I had to wait 1 and 1/2 hours before getting one. Monday I spoke with the Director of the facility and went over my concerns. There were apologizes and it would be corrected. I was told the weekend staff was not the best. I told him I expected the best because that was what they were getting paid for. The week went well, There are good people on the staff there during the week. Next Weekend the same staff was on and I had to search the halls and out side smoking areas to find the nurse to get my pain meds because the nurses aid could not find them. I checked myself out Monday morning after getting reimbursed for paying for meds. Things had not changed.

Beautiful facility- horrible care. Neglectful aides with lazy attitudes. No management interaction except on tour. Good food, but that is all. Took my family member out of there after one month of decline in health due to poor care.

My mother was in this facility and the care was terrible. The staff hateful and could care less about my mothers needs. They acted like I was bothering them when I would come with a question about my mother. She had a pressure wound and they did not take good care of that nor inform me that it was getting worse. She could not feed herself so half the time, if I weren't there to feed her, she didn't get fed. Please don't put your loved one in this institution. I finally moved her to a better place that took exceptional care of her.

I like Treviso Transitional Care. The facility is brand new, very nice, and luxurious. The staff was very helpful during my visit. They have a beauty shop, a TV room, and allow pets.

I visited this facility

Treviso is a brand new and beautiful facility. They are upscale but more than what we wanted to pay, and they didn't do Medicaid pending which eventually my dad has to do. That's why we said no to this one because it was more expensive, and we didn't want to deal with them not being Medicaid Pending. They did offer a legal service that came in to do a seminar on asset distribution. They are very proactive with their people. As far as the nursing staff, you can't tell because you are just basically walking in and getting a tour. But if you get down to it, every nursing home is the same. They got two beds, two dressers, two night stands, two closets, and a bath. They had coordinated furniture which made it a little nicer. It has a nice dining room which is more of a restaurant style. I didn't see the food, but I'm sure they have a chef there. I would say it was attractive. This is the kind of place you want to go to, but you just can't afford it.

I visited this facility

Treviso was just opening up, it was nice, up to date, and more like home. It’s near a mall and hospital. They have activities for all types of residents. They have a library, games, and exercise rooms.
