Excellent, professional service with a wonderfully courteous and helpful staff!!!!!!
I like to commend your staff for their superior care of my husband. From day one we knew I made the right decision to have him admitted there for rehabilitation. The entire staff was well involved, knowledgeable and courteous. The staff that took of his personal hygiene, bathing, and shaving kudos to them, they did a fabulous job. My husband looked better and he felt better. The Therapists were great! They allowed us to observe him in action and were very thorough in explaining why he was doing various exercises and their goal for him. Their positive attitude got him involved, motivated and willing to participate in his therapy. The Social Worker AMY was very helpful in listening to my concerns and provided valuable information and assistance in completing necessary documents. Not once did I ever see or hear negativity that would have an adverse effect on any patient or visitor attitude, always positive. Even the therapist and aides and nurses that I did not work with, would always welcome me with a warm hello and casual conversation. The Receptionists were always smiling and cordial. Overall, if I had to do this again your facility would be my number one choice and yes I would recommend your services to others that need rehabilitation.
My husband made a significant progress in therapy after 2 months of PT/OT.He has started to sit straight and stand up after a massive brain stroke. I thank you for having us over at your facility and making my experience a nice one. The warmth and friendliness and kindness of the entire staff toward him is an experience that I will never forget. It was such a pleasure to be there.
Thank you, the service you provided superseded my expectations, absolutely fantastic! Most importantly, my husband was very pleased.
My sincere thanks to the Amy ,Martha, Maggi, Lily , Antonio, Deepo , Zara, Dorothy, Chris, Vladimir and the entire nursing , aides and rehab staff.

This facility is presented as a great place,it's not Staff is rude and uncaring as with the other review I also had stomach problem and the kitchen would not adjust menu . It was either in your room or eat bad food in dining room. The only thing good about this place was the therapy staff. I also ended up in Saint Barnabas in the middle of the night with no personal belongings. When my family member went to get my stuff all squashed up in plastic garbage bag. The people from the private transport were scumbags and threw me in back of van and were laughing at me when I complained about them hurting me . Do your family members a favor and stay away from this place.

I liked Inglemoor. It was a good atmosphere. It was like a people person’s home. It was very warm and very inviting. I just looked like a place that people would be comfortable in. It seemed like they had more. You could sit there and watch TV. They had good food and good patient care. I thought they said they were 5 to 1 on staff-to-patient care, and that was pretty good. They also had long-term, and they geared towards to taking care of their patients to their last day.

I am a friend or relative of resident
My mother was an alert, lucid 90 year old woman who spent a couple of months in Inglemoor. She was leading a full, ambulatory life before coming to Inglemoor. Overall it was a bad experience. The physical plant is attractive and the rehab staff is friendly and competent. That was the only good part and even then, the system is such that there is no rehab on the weekends so patients are left to languish in bed even though they are there for rehab. The nursing staff and aides were surly and hostile with few exceptions. The kitchen refused to modify its menu to meet the needs of someone with diverticulitis and a sensitive stomach. It took many complaints over many weeks to get a simple piece of roast chicken without gravy and mashed or a baked potato served. In place of this they served shepherd's pie, barbecue, spaghetti and meatballs and other meals which may suit many but were not acceptable for my mother. My mother often waited 45 minutes for someone to take her to the bathroom. Often it was too late. And sometimes she was left for 45 minutes before anyone checked on her to return her to bed.
She lost almost 10 pounds while there and was quite thin to begin with. Had her weight not become an issue, I believe the kitchen would never have responded to her nutritional needs. One afternoon I visited her and a doctor stopped in. My mother complained of severe pain in her side. The doctor said she was ok. I think he saw her as a complainer altho she rarely complained by nature. The next day I visited and she was not in her bed. It seems that some hours later that evening she was rushed to the St Barnabas ER with intestinal pain and infection which they feared had gone to her blood stream. No one called the family to let us know. Inglemoor did not send any belongings with her either. No one addressed this oversight or showed any concern for this situation or my mother, or the family members who had received no phone call. My mother was in a double room in a bed away from the window. She had several roommates while she was there. Each time we requested that she be moved to the window bed when the bed was vacated, we were refused and told the computer could not adjust to this change. I think we all know that a bed near the window is more cheerful and helps keep a person better oriented than a bed where one is often behind a curtain under overhead lights. This is a prime example of utter indifference to a simple request: Please move my mother when the bed becomes available.
