My mom was transferred there after months in hospital for a stroke and 2 months there at this place she passed away and had a hard bed and lots of beds in 1 room like animals. At hospital she had marks on her back from not being turned and not being cleaned. This place needs to be shut down I wouldn't put a stray cat there. I pray for peoples family there. I pray they don't have someone they love and think they are getting good care to turn around and see what I did it's sad really is.

My mother is currently staying in Magnolia Manor in Inman. She doesn't want me to say anything about it but I do not like it. I'm not happy with them. I can't get in to see her room, I can only get to her window, and from there I think it's OK and it seems clean. They are understaffed though, there is not enough help, and the residents are suffering because of it. That's my opinion. They are overworked and rude and they have bad attitudes. She's in a shared room with an old TV, like the kind before those flat-screens, and she does not have the remote to it. The room looks clean, but usually she gets the nurse to pull the curtain between the bed, so from the window I could not really see what the other part of the room looks like. The staff were really nice when I went up there and they raised the blinds for me so I could see my mom a little bit, but she said they are not friendly to her. Their food is horrible, she said it's basically slop. Her clothes keep going missing; I have spent a fortune replacing them. I don't know if they get stolen or they get mixed up in the laundry. They won't allow me to do her laundry because of the COVID. I understand that, but I just wish I could do her laundry myself. There are no activities for her. I don't know if they don't have enough staff or what but they don't do any activities. She does nothing but stay in bed, they'll get her up, and put her in a chair if she tells them to, but if she doesn't then she doesn't get up. When they do get her up she is left there for hours and hours without being put back in bed. She'll call me from her cellphone and I'd call the front desk and get a nurse to get back there and put her in bed. That's been done several times. The nurses are very nice, she says, it's the CNAs that she thinks don't like her. They're just very overworked and rude.

These people work so hard to take care of the residents. I saw all kinds of help from mantence men and housekeepers. They all work together to take care of my grandma.

I hope they call a residents family, to inform them of a decline. They didn't call me and my mother passed away without her family there. I received the news thru a outsider the next day that my mother was gone asking what the arrangements would be... Total Devastation.. I'm just now posting for its almost a 1 ur anniversary, Still not able to comment on this treatment of authority at a facility...

I was sent here because of insurance while most of the staff was attentive and some where on top of their game a lot were horrible. This place had hard time getting pads diapers clean gowns on weekendse , they only had call lights outside the door no speakers and most times the light got ignored for quite awhile. One of my first nights they had turned me for cleaning my wound and had crossed my leg which at time was paraylized. I had to continually yell out door because they ignored light to get someone to reposition me. Most times I had pooped on myself because they took time getting a bed pan to me or I had to lay there in poo for 1 1/2 hours because it was feeding time and had noonebto clean me up. Big I needed to get out bed sit up I had to fight to get lift in to get me up they were short on equipment they didn't come around fill water pictures. The food most times was crummy and items missing off your tray. Weekends were the worse beans and stale block corn bread or a floppy cold grilled cheese with one slice cheese. I ate same flavor yogurt for 3 months The wouldn't request a variety. I had patients wander into my room all hours. On a couple days I wasn't feeling well I got talked down to and threatened to be thrown out if I didn't go PT PT was a joke I wasn't able to start walking till I got outside therapy with Elite it was a bad place to be

My favorite aunt is a resident at this nursing home and my family is very pleased with the care she receives. My aunt has been in other places before, and while some of them have been nicer on the outside, she has made the most progress at Magnolia Manor Inman. In the past, if my family has suggested she consider staying for the remainder of her life, she has gotten very depressed and we felt we had to take her home and try to take care of her. Now that she is at Magnolia Manor Inman, she has readily agreed to stay there! She says she has made friends and the staff treats her like a princess. I am also very impressed that most of the staff speak to me by name when I visit. My family is very happy.
