Do not bring your loved one to this facility. My Mom was there for 3 weeks today. She was there for rehab as she had a big toe amputated, The food is horrible. The cleaniness is fair. Mom would put her light on for help it would take very long for them to answer her. Any time I would go there her water cup was empty. They never anser the phone in the evening, after 6 it takes forever to get in the building, I brought my Mom home for Thanksgiving. When I brought her back at 545, we waited outside for 15 minutes for them to let us in. Once inside my Mom needed her pain pill there was no nurse around to help her. I waited 45 minutes no one every was around. I spoke to my Mom that night she never got her pain pill until 10;30, this is uncalled for. The final straw came this past Saturday they called me to say they were sending my Mom to the hospital cause she was very confused and out of it..After running test hospital found my Mom to be very dehydrated and malnourished there is no excuse for this..Stay far away from this facility,

This facility has caring and professional personnel. The nurses are caring and knowledgeable. The administrative personnel are always helpful, friendly and professional. They were very responsive to the needs of the patient and family members. Thank you to Heather the caseworker for her dedication.

I have visited several friends at Consulate on many occasions. It is a cozy facility in a beautifully landscaped setting, and we loved to look at the birds they keep there. The staff I observed was extremely compassionate and caring. The facility is kept pretty clean and does NOT reek of urine when you walk down the corridor, which I have experienced at other facilities. One friend/patient did complain that the food was tasteless. I didn't try it myself, but hopefully they will improve that. My friend was grateful for the physical therapy offered there, and there are activities for the patients if they choose to participate.

I have a client that recently had to be admitted to rehab at the Consulate Health Care of Bayonet Point for approximately two week's time. His experience was certainly a positive one. His interaction with the doctors, nurses and staff in general were all positive. Moreover, I would to commend Heather M. (RN/Admin) personally for taking time to go "above and beyond" with regard to his care and accurate documentation of the same. In my opinion Heather M. takes pride in her work and the facilities at Consulate. In these times where "everyone" is too busy it is certainly refreshing to know that the staff at Consulate cared about my client and his well being. My client is on the way home from the facility and eagerly awaits seeing his little chihuahua and best friend.

My father was a patient for about 3 weeks when I finally pulled him out. There was dried feces on the inside of the toilet for 2 weeks. His room was NEVER cleaned the entire time. Food was disgusting. Rehab was a joke. His roommate screamed all night and kept my father awake every night. Place was filthy. You could smell cigarette smoke throughout the building. Meds were never given on time. DEPLORABLE conditions. I am surprised he didn't come away with staph, mersa or sepsis! Wouldn't put a dog in there!

I've been here at this facility for over four months. I have nothing but good things to say about this place! The staff here are very helpful, professional, and caring. The food is good and I've made many dear friends here as well. I am a veteran of the marines. I served at Kheshan in Vietnam. They have a support group here for Veterans. We get together monthly and have a social, go out to eat, and reminisce. I have encountered many health care professional's who know the true meaning of compassion. They help me gain my strength back through physical therapy and the restorative programs. I am for ever grateful to the many workers here who helped me get back on track and back home to my wife.
