    I visited this facility

The rooms at Oak Hill were nice. They were sufficient for the needs and were neat and clean. The staff people were all very pleasant. Their dining area looked very nice, it was neat and clean, and they were assisting residents, who needed help with feeding. They were also expensive. They had a lovely garden area where patients could go out. They do gym and physical therapy, or if the residents just want to do a little workout or get some exercise. They had a lot of activities on their activity board. They have things to keep people busy, and all the residents seemed to be having a good time.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My mom is at Oak Hill Nursing & Rehab Center. The care they give her is pretty good. She is always clean. She doesn’t always love the food, but from what I can see, it looks pretty good. They have activities for them. The place is clean and doesn’t smell like a nursing home, but the rooms are a little small; it's very cramped and difficult to move around with a wheelchair or walker.

    I am/was a resident of this facility

I was a resident of this facility after having major surgery and needed care. The food was horrible, the care was below par. I was there to recover from septic shock and a colostomy. They had zero supplies for my colostomy, and actually snuck one pouch and wafer from a sleeping man who had supplies. There is only 1 nurse on duty. Everyone else is an aide. They didn't know how to bandage my stomach, and 99% of the time my huge incision was just left uncovered. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was a very bad experience for me.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My great aunt was recently put in this nursing home, and needless to say; it is GREAT! She is always taken care of and always has ways to entertain herself there. My great aunt enjoys the food and has not lost any belongings so far (in which is what happened to other relatives in other nursing homes). There is always some kind of nightly activity for the residents to do (such as bingo). She also enjoys the atmosphere and being able to socialize with other people. The staff is as friendly as ever; they're never the slightest bit harsh; even with the younger children we sometimes bring along. The only minor issue we experienced here was when my aunt's coffee mug went missing, but that issue was easily resolved. The gardens in the back behind the building and all-around scenery are gorgeous as well. Even the residents here are friendly and are always greeting younger people who pass by. If anybody were to have a friend or family member in urgent need of a nursing home, then this would be a very good choice for anybody in the area.
