I have been very impressed with the care and compassion of the staff at Northampton Manor. The rooms are kept very clean and are well light and bright! The food is terrific and is served hot! Physical therapy is excellent and engages the residents in a fun and interactive way. This is mom's favorite part of the day. My mom is very happy to have found this place to live. She said she didn't think a nursing home could be this wonderful. Thank you, Mike, Heather, and the entire staff, for your fantastic care.

I am so thankful for Northampton Manor. My Mother is a resident there. She is so well cared for. The facility is clean and bright, the staff are so caring and compassionate. My Mom is always clean and dressed in clean clothing, fed good, hot meals, and her medical needs are seen to. She has physical therapy every day, can get her hair done at the salon, can have her meals in the spacious dining room, and join in any of the various activities if she chooses. Heather, the Admissions Director, was my angel in helping me to get her settled in there. I am so thankful for Northampton Manor.

Push your call button. Be prepared to wait. For everything. You are left to feel you are an inconvenience. It's actually dangerous. What if you had a medical emergency.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT. The care received here is substandard. Currently a resident here for a few days. I have special needs for meals, this was explained to the person in charge of kitchen. I have been here 3 days. I have only gotten one meal I was actually able to eat most of. Several times the food was something I could not eat so went hungry. Saying something to nurses/aides does no good. They tell you is too late to do anything. You can push your call button for assistance, I have waited up to 2 hours for a response, on a few occasions I have gone to go find them. Rehab lasts about 10-15 minutes a day. There are 2 nurses/aides that have been excellent. I wish they were on duty the whole time I am here. Or maybe they could teach the others how to interact with the patients and treat them. Just because we are “stuck” here for any amount of time does not mean you can treat us like “nothing”. Our concerns, questions and care should not be ignored. Once I am out of here I will add to the condition and treatment.

I have read the other reviews on this facility but let me say, I found them to not be the case. I fractured my hip while visiting my son. I am 86 years old. The staff was so nice. My room was very clean, the admissions department did and excellent job of making sure I was taken care of. Rehab was fantastic, I was walking well with a walker in less than a week and I discharged to my son's home within 17days. The nurses were so caring and very courteous. The Activity Director, Morgan, made sure I was taken to the sing a longs and even stayed with me while their beauty shop did my hair. I cannot thank the staff at Northampton manor enough for my speedy recovery

If you love and value your aging parents/guardians/grandparents/great-grandparents/significant other, please, for the love of chicken nuggets, send them to another nursing/long-term care facility but this place!!! Before my great aunt passed away, I came here to visit her. the hallways reeked of urine and feces from the soiled linens and the residents' personal items, the nursing staff was very unprofessional, loud and rude by talking bad about one of their coworkers and not giving a crap if they were disrupting the residents and their visitors, I've spotted some of the nurses and aides walking around with their earbuds listening to music or having a conversation with someone on their phones and some of them were texting and looking at social media while tending to the other residents, and the food was terrible!!! My great aunt wouldn't get her meal for at least 2 hours then the food is cold. As for housekeeping, Ha!!! They're a joke! They don't even clean my great aunt's room properly and it's so sad that I even take the initiative to bring my cleaning supplies from home to clean her side of the room. I feel bad at the fact that this facility is understaffed, but they need to fire the nursing and aide staff and hire professional people who care. As for the receptionists, rehab staff, residents and activities staff, they're amazing!!! I don't know how they put up working with a bunch of young ghetto low-lifes who call theirselves nurses and aides but they're the ones who keep that place going!!!
