This is probably the nicest building I’ve seen for nursing homes. It doesn’t smell, and the staff for the most part seem to care. Considering the crazy time we are all living in, I feel they are doing the best they can

What struck me right off was how positive the interaction between the person showing me to the room and the people in the hall was. It was not fake - the people knew the man and he chatted with each in a different way. My brother went here to get PT after a long stint in hospital. The PT staff were very helpful and encouraging and responded in a helpful manner to my questions and those of my brother. The facility was clean and it did not smell like an old folk's home, which is a good thing. The only complaint my brother had, and was borne out in other reviews, was he did not really like the food. Well, he still ate it! I would highly recommend this facility and our family is appreciative of their care for my brother.

The therapists are top notch. They explain what they are trying to accomplish as well as push you to work hard. The rooms are no frills, but very comfortable I had a room to myself, others have roommates, the nurses are very good, knowledgeable and personable.

Loved one there for six weeks of rehab. Until the week before he was released, I never saw him out of bed. He was told that if he had to go to the bathroom: "Just go in your pants and we will clean you up later". He had soiled himself on almost every visit I made. His food came cold and mostly inedible. They lost most of his clothes. I found medications on the floor under his bed. Trying to get the attention of staff was impossible - you could stand at the nurses station forever and till could not get their attention - they literally ignored you being there.

Checked in Date: 12-5-2017 Didn't get insulin at properly time Didn't get Blood drawn at proper time Mom went to the bathroom, buzzed nurse after she got into bed. She needed her oxygen level checked. Took 10 minutes for nurse to respond to call. Put the monitor on, level was 86. Removed from figure and left the room without waiting for level to return to a safe level. No water was added to her machine. Didn't get her night dose of heart medicine. Ran out, told it would be there at 8:00. Then 10:00. Didn't get her dose until 4:30 pm next day. 4 hours later was given her night dose Had to go to the bathroom. Buzzed 3 times. I had to find Nurses manager for assistance. She helped, made the statement that it was lunch time and they were busy. Family members there for a meeting with Family member had to change Mom's bed sheets, due to she had soiled them Hadn't dumped the commode. Room smelt. During meeting family member, Mom were told if she needs to go and no one comes, pea the bed at night if need to. Left in wheelchair unsupervised, by physical typists. Fell a sleep Documents referenced that she had shower, physical typists asked how she felt afterwards. Mom told him she hasn't showered yet. He stated that the paperwork says she did, and he wasn't going to argue with her. As of 12-19-2017 she hasn't been released to shower. Physical typists, asked to not touch machine. He kinked the tube, Mom wasn't getting oxygen. She buzzed the nurse ----. Roommate noticed something was wrong and went into the fall yelling for help. By the time the nurses got to her room, her oxygen level was at 62. Physical typists James left mom in her wheelchair she wasn't getting any oxygen due to her empty tank of oxygen was empty. Aunt had to find a nurse to return her to bed and put her machine. This happened Mom was left on the commode. Family member had to find someone to assistance her. Physical typists thought Mom need therapy on a broken knee. Mom had a Dr appt in Everett, time. She was late to the appt. She wasn't provided her back up tank. When leaving Everett her tank was in the Red zone. Left a message with Emily explaining what has happen and wanted a call back from her explaining why this happened. Mom's sheets had only been changed once since she had been there. I requested her sheets to be changed while she was out. When we returned the sheets had been changed. Bedspread wasn't on the bed and her call button was thrown on the floor.

This is the first rehab center we had my mother in and yes as you drive up and walk through the front door it really has a WOW factor. But that’s where it stops. She had broken her hip. The care wasn’t great, they would shove my mom some where out of their hair and leave her there. I realize they had her in adult briefs but she had never worn these before so she would ask to go to the bathroom and I know I couldn’t wait as long as they made her wait. It was very difficult for her to pee her pants. They told me they had mats they could put next to her bed in case she tried to get out by herself.. I got a call the first night that she had fallen out of bed. I asked if they had gotten the mats ordered and was told “Oh we don’t have to order those we have them here. “. So then why aren’t they by her bed. She had two significant falls there. Nobody that worked there seemed particularly happy to be there. Less than a month later we discovered her other hip had been broken. We also received a bill we weren’t expecting a couple weeks after she left. There was no way I was taking her back there I found a rehab center in Shoreline it’s not fancy at all but everyone that works there is happy and seems to love their job. Plus they had twice the employees. This place sat us down just a day after mom was admitted and told us that there was going to be an extra charge. It was so nice to know all of this a head of time.
