I visited this facility

I am choosing Seasons for myself because I have a friend who is a resident there now. My daughter and I are very impressed with it. She wants to make sure that they have the facility to take care of me should I need assisted living later on. The rooms are gorgeous. My friend has a 2-bedroom apartment with 2 baths, but I will be going into a 1-bedroom apartment with 1 bath. The food is very good. Everyone in the dining area is very prompt, very nice, and very accommodating. Their menu is great because it's like you're going into a restaurant. They have a full calendar of activities. It has things that I am interested in and things that I do. I saw the activity areas, the chapel, and the exercise area, and they are all very, very adequate and very well stocked. They have staff on duty 24 hours a day. I feel very comfortable with going there and that if something happens to me after I move in there, they will be able to take care of me quickly.

Provider Response

We’re so grateful you feel happy and at home. From great dining to fun events and activities, we hope you’re taking advantage of all our community has to offer. Thank you for your kind review.

Seasons is big, but it is beautiful. The staff is very nice and friendly. The activities looked very exciting. My daughter liked it the best and I liked it, but it is pricy. It's a little out of my budget. I had been invited by my friend over there a couple of months ago and I had a meal there and it was delicious. There's a lobby and a place where they show movies. They also have a small store right there, so you can pick up things that you might have forgotten when you went on your grocery trip. Some people were exercising and other people were playing cards. They showed some activities. It's a lovely facility, and the residents looked very happy to be there.

Provider Response

Our community is a happy place, and your kind words go a long way to brighten our day. We’ll be sure to share your review with our residents and team members. Thanks so much.

We went to the assisted living and skilled nursing facilities of Seasons. It was very nice. Everyone was very pleasant. It's in the middle of being somewhat remodeled. We liked it, but we can't move my mother yet. The model room had a bedroom, a bathroom, and a small kitchen, and it was clean. The dining area looked fine and the staff was friendly.

Provider Response

Thank you for sharing your impression of our community! We hope you do choose our community, please let us know if there is anything else you need from our staff! Until then we will pass on your kind words.

My mother selected Seasons and I would rate them excellent. We chose it for the open dining room policy, location, cost, and amenities. The staff is very good. The apartment my mother selected is spacious, and will meet her needs for several years. They were willing to do some decorating changes to personalize it for her, and it's near an elevator, which was important for her. The dining area was neat and clean, the staff was attentive, and the food was very good. They have a full activity calendar, and they have a lot of transportation off campus to various local shopping centers, which appealed to my mom. She liked the apartment because she can use the second bedroom as a guest bedroom and sewing room. Some of the residents actually spoke to her while we were walking around, and that thrilled my mother. She found that there were a couple of individuals she knew that were residents there.

Provider Response

Thank you! We appreciate you taking the time to share your mother's experience here at Seasons! We are so glad that she has been able to create a sewing room to enjoy and that she has found there are some acquaintances in the community too. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make settling in as easy as possible!

The Seasons was excellent. Their care was excellent. We had no problems or complaints. My friend was in nursing, went to assisted living, and came back to nursing. She was in a private room and then a semi-private room, and we had no qualms or problems with anything. They were excellent in their service and in dealing with the family. There was a lot of activities available, but she was never able to participate. The price was rather high, but it was okay for the service and the facility.

We toured Seasons for my in-laws, and it was nice. It was new, it was renovated recently, but what we didn't care for was all the walking. If you have a walker, it's not accessible to you, and everything is so far away. The chapel area and auditorium was nice, and the exercise room was small, but nice. The staff member was very friendly, and they have a ton of options for activities. It's definitely a place for somebody who's very mobile.

Provider Response

Thank you Tiffany! We appreciate your detailed and honest review of our community. It helps other families and seniors in their decision-making process. We wish you the best in finding a community that fits your needs perfectly!

Seasons was very positive and was in a good location. It had all the amenities for independent living that my parents are looking for. The dining looked like it was very good. My parents also liked the size of the apartment that they looked at.

I would not recommend the Courtyard to anyone. The staff has a high rate of turnover and a very low ratio per resident. The facility is very outdated and in great need of painting and updating. The apartments are not cleaned, except for a light vacuuming. Mold was growing on the shower walls. Medications along with other services were not rendered as stated on the residents assessments. Laundry was mixed up and good clothing was ruined. Family was assured time and again that things would improve, but it did not. The resident has since moved to a wonderful assisted living.

My in-laws were here for a short stay and had a marvelous experience. From the food to activities and the caring staff it was a great stay all around. Would definitely recommend it.

The Seasons is very beautiful and looks like a fancy hotel when you walk in. The entryway is four stories tall and open. It is very pretty, and the food is very good. So far, the staff has been very nice. They provide meals and some laundry and housekeeping once a week.

My mother was at Courtyard after a fall for pt, she arrived at 4:30 pm & at 9:00 am the next day I was on the phone arranging a transfer. She laid in bed for 2.5 hours after a scheduled arrival before a nurse even looked at her & she was only seen because I demanded she been seen. The food was terrible & smelled horrible, the room was dirty. Walls haven't been painted or repaired in a very long time, one wall was plastered but not painted. Mom's bedding was thrown on the floor in a heap. I was able to get her moved after 3 days of neglectful treatment. I strongly advise no one send their loved one to the Courtyard!

We have chosen the Seasons. It is nice and updated, and it is very convenient to my daughter. Price is also a factor. They have a calendar of activities for all of their residents. They have a nice dining room. They have great food. They have a beauty salon. They have church services. They have a variety of activities that they do. They have transportation services.

Seasons has a very nice campus, they have different size rooms, and the staff seemed to be fine and accommodating. However, the room that was opened at that time looked out into an parking lot, and we didn’t like that. They did have activities for people to do stuff. They said that they would pair up four people; they would do question and answer with the person coming in to know likes and dislikes, and they try to make them meet people there who had the same kind of interests.

Seasons was very nice. The staff was excellent. I watched them with the other patients, and I just can't say enough good about them. The rooms were very nice. They were just remodeling some. The grounds were excellent. They got my husband up and took him for walks and to games. Visitors can come in and order food. They were extremely nice and good.

We visited Seasons, and that’s where my mom ended up. Everything is good, and we like it. The people are wonderful. They are very accommodating, and very nice. My mom likes the activities. She is participating. The food is good. She likes that. She is enjoying her room. She has done some upgrades herself to make it nicer. They have been taking really good care of her.

I went to visit Seasons, and I felt the place was efficient and professional. I was impressed by the décor. They have trips and transportation to doctor's appointments. I did go around with the person who was the designated sales person, and overall, it was good.

We eliminated the Seasons pretty quickly after visiting there because of sheer price. The price to get you in the door was one thing, but then they charged for everything. When you just think of what a full day's cost would be and multiply it by 30 days in a month, it will really be very high. For me, the price was misleading. However, we did like the community. We did eat there, and the food was good. The parking needs improvement. We had parked in a non-parking spot when we were there, and it was disappointing. The Seasons was four floors, and they all looked the same. My mom was afraid that she could get lost without realizing it. I did appreciate the community, but there were little things, like the elevator and the price, that we were not fond of.

Provider Response

Thank you for taking the time to tour Seasons. We know there are many questions and considerations when looking at a community and we appreciate your interest. When looking at Independent Living, our community offers a relatively comprehensive package in the monthly service charge: everything from a generous meal plan and valet services to cable and housekeeping services. We would be happy to revisit the items included in our monthly service charge if you are interested in reconsidering the community. We agree, the parking lot needs some work and we are so excited the remainder of our parking lot (assisted living was resurfaced this year) will be resurfaced in 2016. In the meantime, many of our residents are taking advantage of our complimentary 24/7 valet service. I would love to have the opportunity to speak with you. Please feel free to call me directly any time. Russ Conrad, Executive Director: 513.984.7265

My mother was in the Seasons. She was only there for the nursing part because the rest of it was independent living, which was very nice, also. They’re very nice, but it was basically self pay and not Medicaid. The food was excellent. They have physical therapy, trips and all that, too.

We visited The Seasons. The staff was very helpful. The food was really great. I would recommend them, but the reason they didn't work out for us is that they didn't offer a really good physical therapy area. Their rooms were adequate though.

The staff has been wonderful, the administration has been wonderful, we are very happy with my parents being at the Courtyard, and they are happy. It is a large bedroom, large living room, and large bathroom, and it is wheelchair accessible, which we really needed. They've got a little patio off their living room, so they can be outside and have their flowers, bird feeders, and what not. I have eaten there, and we've even gone there for brunch on Sundays, and the food is good. They have arts and crafts, Bingo, entertainment probably twice a week that comes in, happy hour, Sunday brunches, Bridge, and Scrabble.

Seasons is more like a hotel. My mother is not really participating as much as I would like her to, but they have indoor and outdoor activities. It's clean. She likes the staff a lot; they are nice. They have three meals, and at dinnertime, she has been eating in her room. She calls, and they bring it up to her.

My dad was at Seasons. The staff was great. They were very patient with him. There’s everything there that he could’ve wanted to do, but he was in bed and could do nothing. He was in the rehab part of it. There, they had all kinds of physical therapy and they can go outside; there are terraces for them to go in and out. There’s also a recreation room and there are buses that take them to shopping. We were only on one side of the building, and this place was huge. On the other half, there’s an Alzheimer’s wing and the other building there was for long term care where couples can get apartments. They have all kinds of things there. They have dining halls where they can go in and order their meals and they also have a beauty salon. That would’ve been a great place for daddy just to be (he passed away). My dad has been a smoker his whole life and there’s no smoking there; but I would take him outside and they allowed him to smoke, then he looked happy. We were very impressed and very satisfied with it.

Seasons’ is my preference, because they had senior living. It is the one that would suit me, however at this moment in time I am not yet ready. The people seemed great, and they made me feel extremely welcome. I think in my stage in life right now, it would accommodate the best of all but again I just said I’m taking other avenues at this point.

The Seasons appears to be quite old. It was built 30 or more years ago and as I look at the facilities, it appears that it was a hotel that was renovated into homes because all the rooms are that way. They had two other medical facilities. There's one at assisted living and the one in medical so I was surprised to find three physically separate buildings on the same land. One of the things I don't like about it is its age and the way it's constructed. One of the things I liked about it was that little button that you could use for emergency. There's a button that needs to be pushed in order to ensure that you're alive and if nobody punches that immediately, you assume that you're unable to do so and so they'll send you an alert out and they'll check your room to make sure that the person is still there.

My uncle has already moved in The Seasons. So far, everything has been good. The tour was very nice. The staff has been excellent with my uncle. The rooms are nice. They're exactly what they say they are. Their food is good; they have a chef there. It's well balanced for somebody his age. It was just very clean. They were very professional; they were very accommodating. They've done everything pretty well.

They have a swimming pool, an exercise class. They had a lot of things there. The rooms were nice. It was like an apartment with 2 bedrooms, living room, and bathroom.

My mother has been at Seasons for a couple of years now and I can't say enough about them. My mother was never very social but all of the dining room gals treated her like a friend. Recently her needs changed and I had to make the decision to move to assisted living. I was in SHOCK at how easy the move was. I can't say enough about Sharon, the nurse manager and her team. Karrie is the move coordinator and she kept me sane through the process. I am so appreciative of everyone there for taking care of both of us.

We selected Seasons for my mother in 2012 when she decided to move to the Cincinnati area to be closer to one of the children. We were looking for a two-bedroom apartment for independent living and nearby assisted living and nursing home care. After considering 14 locations from referrals, online, and by phone calls, we selected Seasons! The facilities are wonderful and the staff is very friendly and caring. Activities for residents are abundant as well as musical entertainment many times each month. The facility is large with over 200 residents, but the design is such that it feels open and homey at the same time. Meals, service, and maintenance are the best we have experienced. You will not be disappointed!

We visited The Seasons for my mother. We knew about this facility because we have friends who have their parents living there. The staff was very good. Their rooms were impressive. Food was good. They have activities similar to the other facility I visited. Essentially, this place was a little bit better than the one where my mom is in right now. Unfortunately, they don't offer free transportation service and they only have 25 meals a month for their residents. Its location is also inconvenient for us.

The Seasons is one of the best retirement homes in the Cincinnati area. The experience there is one of the best! Residents are treated like family and the restaurant style cafeteria serves food that is as good as gourmet. There are many activities the residents can participate in that are social and fun. Also, there is a driver's service that allows for the residents to maintain their independance. I highly recommend the Seasons to anyone in the area that wants their elederly loved ones to enjoy the end of their lives.
