I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My Grandmother is in the temporary section of the hospital. I had to ask them to shower her after 5 days. She's been missing her pj's ever since. A male helped her shower. Tonight she dropped her side table contents. She was freezing cold. No one answered her call. I tried calling from home. No answer. I came down with a blanket and new pajamas, and the wouldn't answer the door. A woman had come to see her father and had been trying to buzz in and call for 35 minutes. There seems to be a big difference in care during the weekend. Staff during theach week had been much better.

I visited this facility
I am appauled at the care my dad recieved, he was supposed to be rehabilitated but instead was overly drugged up to do anything but drool on his shirt. He was suffer from a urinary infection which ended up sending him to acute care aka ICU for MURSA. they were not aware that his combativness was probably due to the infection and pills were not enought but dose of the super bug killer Vancomycin. They took no care how long his hair look at the declining health of my father. I felt overwhelemed with so many chairs and gurneys in the long term side all in the same zombie like condition, All laubdry get washed together soiled and all, On weekend seems like everyone took the weeken off and saw a lady with drool all over her mouth and another with drool stains on her shirt, There was one nurse with glasses that was very professional and kind and he was the only one that should true kindness. My dad's feet were ready to blow up they were so swollen and now he is alert, talking and even standing up and making sense so shame on you Windsor no rehab for you. My dad was dying before my eyes and unresposive no one cared or tried to help him just let him lay there and since he kept falling they had to put rubber mats around him cause you cannot restrain or move thhe velcro where you can't reach it or even make many fake velcros to keep the patient busy and focused

I am a friend or relative of a resident
My mother in-law was a three year resident of the above-mentioned facility. She had suffered a stroke and we cared for her at our home for two years before placing her into a long term care facility. Her needs eventually became to much for my husband and I. The facility was nice, the staff was friendly and helpful. It seemed though no matter what the staff or my husband and I did to make my mother in laws stay more comfortable, it was never good enough for her. She always complained about the staff, the facility and the food. I have seen the exact same behavior from other residents of different facilities. In my opinion, everything that needed to be done was being done. It just was not home, and thats why it did not meet her standards. Placing a loved one into long term care can be a difficult situation. We always knew she was taken care of and we never worried.

I am a friend or relative of a resident
When I placed my loved one in this facility, approximately 4 years ago, I was happy to know that she would be in good care, attended to by caring staff, and that all of her post-stroke needs would be met. The facility was clean and everyone was pleasant to speak with, both on the phone and in person. Over the course of the three years that she spent here, there were a number of changes, both positive and negative. While the facility was improved by the addition of many large screen televisions in the common areas and new landscaping, it seemed as if the quality of the staff, and thus the overall care, declined. Overall, I would rate this facility as average in most areas, but substandard in the care that the residents receive. If it ever became necessary for my loved one to return to long-term care, I would probably search for another facility before placing her in this particular one.
