Reviews of Resurrection Nursing Home

I visited this facility
Myexperience at the Resurrection Nursing Home was relatively positive. When you first arrive the grounds were in need of maintenance. There was clearly loved gardens at one time but I believe due to budget cuts the exterior of the building and its grounds were looking rather unkept. I think more effort should have been made during it's design for easier parking. The hill you have to climb can be difficult for elderly visitors and the closest parking was completely full. The inside of the building was clean but a little office like in its furnishings. I believe more effort could be made to make it feel more like home then hospital with very little money spent but it's not nearly as bad as some I've been in.What makes the place decent for me is the staff. With the exclusion of a few CNA's the staff was very friendly and more importantly didn't talk down or demean any of the residents or family. I'm told the food is of decent quality though I haven't eaten there and other then some tiny ants (which probably can't be avoided) the dining hall was clean and well staffed. All in all given the stress that everyone is under both staff and resident and the horrific budget cuts that have been made I feel they are a safe and respectful facility and wouldn't exclude them from your considerations if you need care for a loved one.
