Neglectful rehab environment. Cold meals served because the food sits on trays in unheated boxes in the hallways for 1 1/2 hours before being distributed. Medications NOT administered (including insulin)!! Call lights unanswered for 2 3/4 hours for a patient in need. Nursing team walk in, turn off the call light, and walk out without assisting patient in distress. Lazy, unmotivated, mean, smart-mouthed nurses and assistants are utterly disorganized and careless--there is no manager or leadership present. There is no sense of professional medical care in the rehab facility. There is no teamwork. ABSOLUTELY NASTY FACILITY. The most actively disengaged nursing team I have ever encountered-I have never seen such dysfunction and deliberate carelessness before. Just the absolute worst employees who have no business being in medical care.

My grandmother has been at this facility for a year in the Dementia unit and the quality of care is abhorrent. The majority of my visits, the place is filthy. I witnessed gnats flying around unattended food trays on the cart waiting to be passed out. One visit I was surprised to find her with nearly all of her faced severely bruised. She said that she fell and wanted an x-ray and the facility refused to have her examined; it seems they avoid any extra cost with patients. She constantly has her person items stolen including her reading glasses. The last time this happened, it took me 5 months of constant calls to get them to provide her with another pair. During my visit this December, she and her roommate were screaming at each other and threatening violence; not ONE nurse checked on them. When I asked if she could be moved to another room, the staff told me that no one listens to their recommendations. I tried to have her relocated but was unsuccessful. Please do not put your loved ones in this facility.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Claremont. My dad was in there for his final journey and the support, patience, understanding and compassion that was shown by the staff was amazing. The staff handled the stressor of their shifts very well and never once got annoyed with us or anyone else. The Facility was clean and secure. I love how the staff cared for each resident as they were family. My 11 year old daughter was so thankful for them she made the nurses bracelets so say thank you for their kindness.

Rooms are average. Staff is lazy. Activities for the residents to enjoy? How about NONE except for bingo every other week. My special other has some physical therapy but does not get to use it much because when she goes to excersize her legs they tell her to get back into bed. Food is served half cold and is not very palatable. Don't send your loved one to live there. Since sold by the county, it has gone way down hill. I will be looking elsewhere to move my loved one. Hopefully before she dies here.

I am a current resident in the Transitions unit. I have been treated horribly and their middle name is screw up, Everyone here constantly drops the ball at every turn. The facility itself is clean, the food is wretched and some personnel are very good, others are not. Too much agency help and not enough permanent employees. They have been reported to the health dept. and continue to ignore their directives. It was previously run by the county and has gone downhill since becoming a private concern. Cheap is the word. Thankfully I am able to advocate for myself but there have been at least 6 medical mixups in my meds that could have been harmful both to myself and others. Very short staffed and lacking in communication. I can't wait to get out in a few days.

People moaning for days with fevers and no one is allowed to call 911. My friend telling you that you administer the wrong dosage of a med and gets told that the doctor changed it. The next nurse says no the doctor did not change it. 2 hours to get a bed pan. Sauerkraut or collards every damn day. What a freaking warehouse. Oh, then there are the mice.
