From what my relative has told me the aides can be rough when changing or moving them around. My relative also said the food is not good. There a few aides and nurses that are nice. But other then that I wish I could change their facility but that's out of my hands. My relative basically stays in their bed and isn't offered any activities to my knowledge.

My mother is at The Pines at Bristol Center for Health and Rehabilitation. I would give them 100. They are pleasant and very friendly. The room was always clean, the entrance was clean, and the kitchen area was clean. I did not find anything to ponder over. The receptionist was very polite. I have no complaints so far. The lobby was welcoming, and they offer you areas to sit. I observed my mom at suppertime and the food was appetizing from looking at it. She said she liked the food. She doesn't have any complaints. She said they took her for a walk. She was there mainly for rehab. They were very active with her because at times I would call, she's away with physical therapy. She said she enjoys their company and the nurses. I saw a gym area. I think she gets her money's worth. She talks highly of the staff.

My sister is there now she cannot get the nurses to wash her,she calls for the bathroom no response,she's been in the same clothes going on 3 days now her laundry not brought up yet 1 week things missing they r neglecting her

Incredibly unresponsive and condescending medical staff. Disregarding my ailments and stating that my health 2 days before my hospital admittance is irrelevant despite the fact I have gained 25+ lbs of fluid weight since being put under their "care". Also, I have not been allowed to select a different physician within the facility, as required by law. Lack of privacy when needing commode and changing clothes (bed by the door with no privacy curtain and people opening the door and/or leaving it open). Food is very carb-laden and innutritious. also tepid and soggy most of the time. Extremely understaffed. There is no reason anyone should have to wait 20-25 minutes for assistance. The CNAs are all very nice, but severely overworked.

First of all, my mom has been here for the past year or so. When my mom first came into The Pines it was well kept-clean. Now I'm seeing food left on the floor in the elevator/as well as spills on the carpet. The custodians who clean each floor sit around most of the time do as little as possible leaving garbage unemptied paper towel dispenser empty, and barely washing floors. The rooms need more thorough cleaning not just empty garbage, things such as dust on top of tv, clean side food tray and sweep floor. The maintenance needs to fix things more quickly my mom has been without sound on her tv for 4 days. How would you like sitting watching tv and having no sound especially when you have limited sight and you count on your hearing. One of the ice makers on the third floor has been broken for month's honestly, what does it take to get repaired? I often have to run to another floor to get ice for my mother to have some water in her room. We asked for the nurses to keep us informed on our mother's health, it is not happening. To be honest with you I am going to make a report on this place if this continues to happen. I am very unhappy! Don't you have certain recognitions that help rate The Pines above other nursing homes? Then, why are you not on top of things more?

Aides take 20 minutes to answer a call bell. The food is always cold. One thing good here is the therapy staff.Nurses and aides not that great.
